Hey everyone! This is my first post ^^I signed up a few days ago, and I'm very pleased that I did, BF seems like a very friendly and open community :3I am a 22 year old femme from the East Coast of Canada, and I'm looking into getting my first male dog sometime in the next 6 months or so. So my question is this- does anyone know much about Siberian Huskies? Do they make good lovers? They are by far my favourite dogs... those eyes make me weak in the knees ^^ Also, I wanted to know, does it matter if I get a puppy or a dog that's say, a year old? I'm assuming that a puppy would become that much more bonded to you... but I'm never had a male dog before, or a dog that I had a sexual relationship with. Thanks so much for any and all help!-K.G
Hi,I can't tell you any specifics about the exact breed but I believe I can tell you about how good "a lover" they'll make. There's no way to tell, I believe about 10% of the dogs refuse to copulate with a human being, I haven't read much experience with that on the board though! The kind of lover they'll make has a lot to do with how you raise them. Make sure your dog know the conditions in which he is allowed to court you. In case you did not teach him that some people you invite at your home might be shocked of your dog's manners towards you What kind of lover they'll make has a lot to do with nature-nurture actually, if they're dominant by nature you'll have more trouble to make love to him on your own terms, ... Every breed gets some character traits described for them but it's actually all more on a personal level, though some breeds are indeed more dominant/protective/shy?/...--> I'd think you better start with a puppy, it might prove to be easier not to confuse him, since you'll be both his boss and his lover...Make sure to read the tutorials here, and also wait for more perspective on this Good luck, I hope it helped you a bit
\Good luck, - and welcum to our little grouo~!
Thanks very much BertandEurnie! That was extremely helpful, I also made my way to the tutorials on zoosex, very informative stuff! Still not scared off though, I can't wait for my first time and thanks Himfella, for the welcome :3-K.G

Welcome Knotty, its good to see a few more canucks around the board, and from the east coast no less, good to see a few more friendly faces around here as were not the most common residents in the area.Hope everything is going well and welcome!
Knotty , Knotty, Knotty, you are a young lady with big dreams. Dogs are normally a long term commitment and that should be your first consideration. Huskies are a hardy breed that generally need a fair amount of exersise. Thay are much more suited to the east coast Can,than florida but better in Labrador than NS. They can be aggressive and domineering but maybe that is what you want. Check online for more breed info. Are you only looking for sex, stop now. Have you experiencd a dog before? If not I strongly suggest you do, before you make the huge step of getting a pup. Having sex with an animal is easy compared to bringing one up, training them, caring for them, and eventually having them pass on.Don't jump into something blind. This is a great place to start. Ask lots of questions and trust no one. There are a lot of people here with experience who have no trouble helping you out. Nice to see another Maritimer here .
Ive owned dogs before, and I know its going to be at least a year before I can ever attempt anything sexual with my new companion. it will be my first MALE dog, and my first animal sexual partner. Halifax has plenty of great places to take dogs, Point Pleasent Park one of my favourite locations for such. But I am used to having to exercise and care for a dog, plus sex is much much more to me than just physical. I'm not just out to get a quick lay. It's not problem for me finding sex, at all hehehehe I crave a companion. a protector, my beast. I havent had a furball to cuddle in so long, and I'll finally be living in a house come the new year, so plenty of room for a dog do you know of any thought provoking websites that might make me reconsider/realize I might not be ready for this?Thanks!ps- where are you from in the maritimes?
I don't know any sites off the top of my head, maybe someone else here does. I agree with funcumer, they do require a good run and lots of attention. I haven't had a male husky but my female sure is a load of sweet fun. They're a wonderful breed and I agree they're eyes are heart melting. Mine loves to stretch her legs so I jog with her in the morning and nights and it really shows how much it helps. I agree getting one as a puppy is helpful because it does give you a chance to create a closer relationship and it helps breaking bad habits easier too. Mine was a chewer even though I kept her pretty busy with games and such but only minimal work changed that. They're real friendly dogs so they aren't too weary of strangers so being a gaurd dog isn't much on their to do list. Do look into it because if being a husky owner will work for you it's definetly a fun trip. Good look and I hope I helped you alittle bit .
sex is always secondary......
Try here ----> http://www.beastforum.com/showtopic-60064.html Perhaps Huskies have been covered there.
Silkythighs is right, I actually wrote one up on that thread awhile back. Hope that helps you too.
My first lover was a Siberian Husky, they make great lovers but how they act is more developed by how you raise them. Sometimes they can be very dom, such as when they haven't had release in days. But for the most part, they are somewhat neutral. They will allow you to suck them without trying to mount your mouth (My experiance) and are mstly more then happy to mount. I have no fem experiance, but with males, just play with them first and take it from there. They are soft, loving partners with a good lifespan (Wish it was longer, it hurts so much when they reach the end...). From my experiance, there are only two main problems.1. They cost a fortune to feed if you want their health to be perfectly maintained. (Not sure if it was good, but I just made meals for 3 and fed him the 2)2. If you try it on a newly aquired adult, prepare to be dommed. It's ALWAYS better to start out with a pup, then they are taught who is the master, and when in adolesence, you teach them you are their lover, not just another bitch.Well, I don't think I was, but I hope I was a little helpful at least. Oh, In the summer, always leave them outside unless you are far north. I was in CB, NS by the water so him overheating wasn't a problem. But remember, they are artic dogs and have the fur for it. They overheat easily.
