This was running through my head today.Would anyone listen if there was to ever become a sort of "zoo music", either a band or solo singer singing love, rock, country, etc. songs about experiences being a zoo and there attractions. I'm not sure how any of this could get published and even stand a chance to get put out to the public, but my question is how many of you out there would listen to the music if it ever happened?peace
I would consider zoo music, as long as it were subtle. Personally, I like the song Chestnut Mare by the Byrds as it speaks of marriage between man and mare. I also heard that there is a song called the hounds about bestiality, but I don't remember who sings it.
well if it had a good sound to it ya i would listen to it

Yeah I would listen to zoo songs. But really I think most people listen to what they find musically appealing, not so much by the content of the lyrics.

Totally depends on the music, just because someone mentions loving their horse or dog on a song isn't going to make me rush out and buy it.
I heard a live song on the local radio station performed by a band called Happy bullets. The name of the song is called "darla and her dog" and unfortunetly I didn't get to hear all of the song but it said things like "Darla and her dog do each other favors, waking up the neighbors" and such. I searched for the lyrics but no luck just yet. I just thought it was pretty neat something like that played live to all of ft.worth/dallas tx.
