Alright so i'm moving out on my own to a place where they allow dogs. I'll have a big backyard and free time to spend with my k9. the question is... What breed? i'm a male and i want the dog to mount me.. i'm not wanting one as big as a great dane but i don't want one from the toy category either... i need one who won't bark as much and has enough energy to go at it everynight I was thinking of a bloodhound.. i think they are adorable or a german shepard.. i know we have a lot of those lovers... or a Lab.. does anyone have any suggestions?? Please let me know!!! oh yea i totally forgot.. where can i find a reputable breeder?? i'm from mass

I think you're on track with the Bloodhounds. There are several breeds. My uncle had two, male & female. Watched him seperate them when they were tied. Males are extremely hung.
i love labs mine is well a great companion and so energetic in bed i love that dog
There is no such thing as a good breeder. Look on google for rescue and shelters. Mass has a whole lot of shelters teeming with unwanted dogs that breeders cared more about the money than the life they sold. There are alot with alot of diffrent breeds. I would post you links but you have not specified what you want. the advantages of older dogs is that you know their pesonality and you know if they will accept you sexually or not. even a neutred dog will knot and tie. the thing with the neutred dogs is that the tie lasts longer.Do not deal with breeders, get rescue.

IŽd say it depens alot on wat you expeckt of the dog. It would probely Help you ifyou would get a gernral discription of diferent breeds befor you get a dog.Good in the famlly, eazy to handel,. Every breed has there good and bad side. I have personally had very good relationships with Golden Reitrevers. Very kind and gentel but great in bed. Hope you find wat your looking for!
Hi Bermiseluv,First thing that I would suggest is going to an all breed dog show. This will give you a real life idea of how large the various breeds of dog are and it will also give you an idea of what breed you visually fall in love with.Secondly and more importantly, once you have narrowed down the field, you can do specific research on each of the breeds that you like and look at the problems associated with each breed and also the benefits. You can get this information from the internet or the Americal kennel Club. The AKC will have links to the various breed specific clubs and organizations. Also, don't rule out finding a mized breed dog, one that you can just love for the sake of loving him or her. I do have to disagree with one of the previous posters, it is not absolutely true that a neutered animal will tie longer. I have seen just the reverse, personally. I think it is dependant on each dog, individually.Feel free to email me personally if you care for more information or if I may be of more help to you. Good luck finding a friend and lover!DT
