As promised here is the documentary "Animal Passions" which was shown on UK television (Channel 4) last year. This is the second documentary on the subject by the same team at Optomen Television and was made after Hossie (a.k.a "Mark Matthews") died although they do have some footage of him in the film.Generally it is pretty unbiased, if not slightly in favour of the zoophile position. I had the good fortune to meet the production team whilst they were making the first documentary (they wanted me to appear in it - I declined but did have a paw in some of the script) and they are a good bunch of folks.Anyway, it's in four parts (I taped it off the TV and edited out the ad breaks) with a total size of about 300Mb. Screen size in 720 x 576 and the codec used in DivX 5.0 (pretty much any modern DivX codec should play it - codecs obtainable from www.divx.com) You'll need to rejoin the sections with HJsplit.This is going to take a while to upload so please bear with me. As far as I know downloading from here should not affect your upload/download ratios (mods - please correct me if I'm wrong on that point).Finally big thanks to our very own Lady Rottweiler for giving the go-ahead for me to post this.Enjoy!Dracunculus.

I cant open them, they save as .001,.002 due to the name of the files having animalpassions.something.something etc files and I cant change it. The comp instantly assumes the .something is the file extension.It is a great post. Thank you very much.

The ".001" ".002" ".003"...etc. file extensions are there because the file has been broken up into several smaller files with HJsplit. You can download HJSplit here. Download each file, and then using HJsplit, select the ".001" file as the input file and click "join." The file will automatically put all of the files together and save them as a single .avi file which can then be played. It was also said that they were in DivX format. You can download DivX here. Hope this helps!
You also can use Total Commander or Windows Commander to join it.

I don't understand why everything I try to do ends up being a fight. I downloaded the Divx player to be able to download and watch this show, and I can only get 1 minute 16 seconds into it before the video stops and I get a message stating "want to create your own divx video files? Try Dr. Divx."
OK, I finally got this Divx thing fingered out. It's amazing what a nights sleep will do. Oh yes, and many thanx dracunculus for putting in the time and effort into uploading this program. I'll be giving you a "10" for your efforts. A program like this would never get airplay in the US. It would never get by the censors.

Yes, you can delete the downloaded segments. I would recommend making sure that the combined video works correctly though, so you can redo the join if you need to, without redownloading the segments.

I just have one question... Is it suppose to be a video or is it audio only???? I can only get audio... on the first 2 parts..
Nope, it't both audio and video. I'd make sure you have the latest DIVX decoders.

Only the first video from each 4 parts works for me. Any clue as to what I can do to make the others work?

It sounds to me like you haven't joined the program segments. Only the first segment will load correctly untill you join the segments. You need to get a program called HJC join. Do a forum search, as another poster put a link to a download site. I'd dig for it myself, but have had only 3 hours sleep over the last two days, and I'm about to crash. If you look at the segments, they have a .001, .002, .003 etc, for each video segment. Once you download all matching segments, you need to load the HJC program and click on the first file. The version I have, only the .001 file shows, and the program automatically matches the remaining segments. Once done, that segment of the program will play like it's supposed to. Repeat the process for the remaining program segments.I'm not sure how your DIVX player works, but you may have to watch each rejoined segment seperately. The one that I have anyway, won't load the filenames jukebox style for uninterrupted viewing. If you are unable to find the joining program, PM me, and I'll see what I can find, after I get me some much needed sleep.

Alright, thanks I finally got it working.I had tried to join them, but it just wouldn't put them all together. Thanks to the person that suggested saving each part to a different folder, I should've thought of that myself but I didn't. I was able to see what the problem was- some of the segements had extra 1's in the filename.Thanks to the person that posted all of the files. I'm definetly surprised in the quality of the video, it even looks fairly good full screen!

Awesome job on uploading the whole show, wtg Dracunculus. :-)Like Optomen's previous Animal Passions, a few years back, I thought the show was well put together, fairly balanced and didn't come down in judgement on either side - informing discussion rather than declaring right and wrong.For those that are interested, Dr Hani Miletski's detailed research (conducted back in the '90s) resulted in a book by the title "Understanding Bestiality and Zoophilia" which, I believe, is still available (its a bit of a heavy scholarly tome in parts mind you). I LOVED this programme i taped it off the tv also... (well the 2005 one) it touched me so much this programme... i ended up shedding a tear.. knowing that there are people out there just like me... they talked so casual about it it felt so normal...

thank you drac, that was an excellent, time consuming and five star post i thought i might comment on it though. And im going to comment on it as someone completely outside of the world of zoophilia and besitality, because, for a lot of it, I am. Although ive had thoughts or fantasies concerning dogs, I still find the whole concept of zoophilia hard to grasp, and dont quite understand the attraction between men and horses. I dont look down upon anyone, its just not a subject im comfortable with yet. Having said that im going to comment on this movie.I found the tone of the movie to be creepy. Although the narrator asked fair, thoughtful and empathetic questions, there seemed to be a lot of cut scenes with fairly ominous music followed by up close shots of horses, giving the movie a dark feel, more like you were watching a documentary about aliens than people and animals.secondly, were the people they chose to interview. May i say right here this is not meant to offend anyone, but I think that the people they chose to present Zoophilia to the world are the exact kinds of people that outsiders would expect to be zoos. Fairly unattractive, farm dwelling country folk. Now, i havent seen any of the mugs on the boys or girls here, but ive seen enough video and snapshots to know that there are absolutley normal, gorgeous people who are into zoophilia. Honestly i think it would have done more for zoos if they were to have at least one example of this in the documentary. A well adjusted, hardworking attractive city chick who bangs her pup on the side the one thing that really made me like the film though was the woman sexologist who talked about consent when dealing with beastiality. Not an exact quote "no one asks them if they want to be killed for food, or exploited for our gain, but when it comes to having sex with them all of a sudden we want thier permission?" no shit. Not to mention the fact that animals want it, just as much as we do, in general.Im sorry if ive said anything to offend anyone, its just i would like this to become more accepted, but overall i dont think this film did much for the cause.

Why Cant I Play Them I put them together with HJ Split and I cant play them in any form of DivX player or even Quicktime player...Can someone either put them into mpeg or wmv format or help me with playing them...I want to see this so bad...

YAY! ... I found a way to make it all work Thank you Ever So Very Very Much "dracunculus" for posting this broadcast... I will watch it with intent eyes as soon as I have it all I have the first part and I saw it and I love it The clip parts are in .avi but they are DivX formatting and only newer pc's can play them as videos from what I found out... I found out they will only play as audio only if you don't have the right stuff in your pc so I went looking.Now, to help those like me who are less fortunate and don't have the newer operating systems on their pc...I found the DivX codecs and a player that is similar to winamp but for videos.Use HJ Split to join the files and then you can play them fine in Winodws 98 and ME if you get these programs... they are FREE too Ace DivX and Ace Media Player (for windows 98/Me/2000/XP)And then, after you have that, go get the codecs for it here [there are 3 that work well so look forthese in the list... Koepi XviD v.1.0.3, SourceForge.net ffdshow build 20041012, and Unofficial ffdshow build 20050619]DX50 - DivX 5.0 codecYes it sure is a feat having to download all that by Dialup Oh but it is sure well worth it.... I just want to make a Reply on "offtopic's" post if I may...Thank you for not looking down on me but I am far from being "unattractive, farm dwelling country folk" ... ... but I see your point. That is the same reason they have the cute girls at McDonalds to take your order and at the checkout of most stores. Ok what is different? I would love to watch this video and I can d/load everything from .002 on, but every time I click on the .001 file *first part of the first split* it just opens in Windows Media Player and gives the error that it can't open the file. Was this first part encoded differently or do you know what the problem is? Any chance you could just send it to me as an attachment or do you think that would have the same problem? Someone please help!!
Addendum to last post...ALL of the .001's do the same, i.e. open in Windows media player with error so have to close it and can't d/load ANY of the .001's!! Please help!!!! I got everything but those .001's!
Hmmm, I have one of the Animal Passions movies. I didnt realise there were two of them. The one I have is about 600 megs and fullscreen. Its running time is 50 minutes.I think Ill attempt to download this one and hopefully it will be the one I dont have. If thats the case, Ill try to take the time to upload the other one.
Ahh, I just watched the first part, and this is the same movie I have. I guess Im gonna have to search around out there for the first one now. Good to know there was another one as well.

Get yourself a copy of HJSplit (just google for it), use it to open the .001 file and it will find the rest of the files and recombine them into a playable .WMV file.You can also do a search on here for "HJSplit" which goes into more details.Enjoy.Drac

Not sure if it would even be allowed to be shown in my country, so I'm glad to now have it saved on disk.A 10 from meP/S: I haven't been through all the previous replies but many ppl with Windows Media Player may not have succes viewing this...so may I suggest if this is the case, just google for VLC Player and download it.It is freeware.VLC is an excellent player and will handle just about anything going!Being an avi file, VLC will definately play this movie.

Ah the wonders of Uk television...and especially channel 4... our most beloved channel for showing the more "out there" shows...Not "out there" as in weird,, just the balls to finger the sensors and make/show it... And big thanks for splitting/encoding and uploading ...for other people in different countries that would never normally be able to see this sort of thing...
