Nope.. the only term that I am familliar with is Zoo Exclusive. I suppose that there may be a word in some psychology or mental illness book, but I am not sure. Like Bitchfool said... we could certainly use anything. Make something up. It might just catch on

QUOTE Make something up. How about the word a Zoophiliac or some thing less harce.Ps welcome back ---2---.

Well... I am confused. I have read through this thread a few times and I have yet to see any reason for fighting.... or even minor conflict. This has been nothing but a constructive thread whose goal is to give a better name to Zoo exclusive people. I am Zoo exclusive and would like to see a different term used... although the one that we have is fine. If someone can think of somethign better... then why not?

Me to, who was not polite, and unkind here Got me hanging. It all looked good and kind to me.. A short word, that might work also, Zoonly ( zoo only ) put together.

Greetings from Canada,Anyone object greatly to the possible coining of this word? [Zexclusive.] Or [Zexlusive.] It gets away from the ". oo", and the "...phile" and concentrates more on the cognitive, speechless, secretive, capability aspect of we human animals, and that we tend to keep our own secret counsel with our own kind as being uniquely"exclusive"; moreover, it would be a very long time before any such new word selected would appear in the Oxford English Dictionary. but it would likely appear there one day, buried along with the other published "Z"s!Donn

Just "Zoo"

QUOTE (Lucky Stallion @ Sep 15 2004, 08:41 AM) Just "Zoo" While I have nothing against the word Zoo, or term Zoo Exclusive, (I use them both very often and refer to myself using them). With they way that the porn industry has run the word Zoo through the mud it is understandable that actual Zoo's would want to make a different term. I just hope that a day comes where the word Zoo is once again used in it's proper place.

I used to say "Zoophile"... but then you look at people who are "Paedophiles"... but they sure as hell don't love children. They rape them, encourage them to do something that they are not physically and emotionally prepared for, and that's just not on.So, steer away from anything with "phile" on the end.If I were to call myself anything, since I am myself non-human exclusive, I would say, "Zeta"."I'm a Zeta".After the Greek letter of the alphabet for "Z", and we all know the greek "zoos" pertaining to animals.Though other less serious suggestions could be (for species specificity:Puppy-plugger.Mare-muncher.Gator-mater...and so on and so forth ---"I've done..."- Idiosyncratic, thinking what words would go best before the expression "All creatures great and small".

Well there noting wrong with the word Zoo Exclusive except when talking to someone who doesnt know what a zoo is they always think dirty, like when i had to tell my x girlfried who i was ,she started surtching the net for the word zoo and came up with all of these hardcore zoo porn sites and she thought i was pervert becouse of her search results, she broke up with me the next day, I am now a zoo exclusive for keeps no more girlfriends.I like Idiosyncratic word "Zeta" iet is something easy to say ,and you probebly can say it to some one, without them thinking dirty.I just read trough the post again and i dont understand pilulistul can you please tell me what i did wrong.

I've read through all the posts and have yet to find anything semi-objectionable. But anyways, love the mare-muncher idea, he he he. But seriously Zeta sounds to be the best idea so far. (Love Zexclusive but I don't WANT to know how I'd pronounce that mouthful!)

Well, I'm not zoo-exclusive, but I may as well chip in. "Zoophile" would be the technical term for us. the -phile sufix just mean "lover of," so pedophiles aren't necessarily sexual at all... anyone who loves a kid is technically a pedophile (although everyone uses it the first way, obviously, and if someone disagrees I don't think it's worth arguing the point). So a "hippophile" or "equinophile" would be a lover of horses, and a "zoophile" a lover of animals, right? That's just the way the english language works. It does have negative conotations, yeah, but not as much as the word bestiality does though. At least zoophile indicates some sort of emotional attachment to the animal in question. I guess my point is the stigma related to those words in entirely society-based... the words themselves have no dirty-meanings.Zoo is a good way to discretly abbreviate it, I think, but I like the "Zeta" idea a lot... maybe it just appeals to the fanciful side of me. "I'm a Zeta." Sounds like Star Trek. But no one but another zoo would know what you were talking about, so it's a good calling-card. Zeta gets my vote... although I think it'll just be a sneaky way to say you're a zoophile. That's my two cents... take 'em or leave 'em!
