I wonder what people here think of how they are being treated by society and how we might work to change it (if needed.) So I put the question to you: What sort of oppression is going on in your life as you see it, and if present, what can be done about it in the short or long term to change it?
"Ah, now we see the violence inherent in the system!" Well the fact that if I'm actually caught doing anything of an erotic nature with my beasties I can (theoretically) be thrown in jail for life - but would almost certainly get a jail term even for a first offence but if I went out and murdered an animal I'd probably get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again is pretty opressive. What can we do? Not a lot to be perfectly honest - can't see any politicians either coming out as zoos or their being a lot of votes in a pro-zoo stance so don't expect the laws to change. What I di is keep a low profile, tell the friends I think I can trust that I'm a zoo, they know I'm a nice chap and when someone starts going on to them about "nasty beast F**kers" they might say "No, Hang on, I know one and he's OK" - that way attitudes get changed, slowly I grant you but I doubt there are enough of us to all come out and go on protest marches demanding our "rights" - we'd just get stomped!Just my USD0.02
You have opinions, so do they.Zoophillia is not the moral majority in most democratic systems, don't know what to tell you.

Don't know about that cause the UK law was changed last year from life to only a maximum of 2 years so theres a step in the right direction for us.
Well, in the u.s. money means a fighting chance! [For a Lawyer] Maybe we could form a zoo cefense fund? [Seperation of church and state] The laws are really based on religion...

Hi, As I wrote before, since the sodomy laws were found unconstitutional by our supreme court most states (not all) have thrown out the bestiality portions of the sodomy laws. These laws were generaly catagorized together. Wether man-with-man or man-with-beast they were under the same catagory. When the sodomy laws were dismissed the bestiality portion went with em. Now, a "few" states re-catagorized the bestiality portion, like Mississippi, Iowa, etc. But anyhow, just because most states no longer have anything mentioned in the books about besitiality, it doesnt mean they could still make your life miserable. We live in a puritanistic, hard-line conservative, bible thumping country and there is a whole slew of police officer, district attorneys, and politicians out there who would just love to make an issue over an individual who gets caught doing it with an animal.
