Has anyone ever seen or viewed pics or movies of Zoo's that had a love of tattoos?
Hi Knottycountry,Yes, I've been researching for myself. I'm getting a series of tats starting next week to show my own commitment. Just regarding dogs, one prominent phenomenon is women (and some men) who own paw tats, usually on their back somewhere (lower or shoulder height), on their hip bone, or - and this is becoming increasingly accepted - on the inner wrist (sometimes considered the new "tramp stamp".)There are other, more "spiritual" meanings to paw prints (i.e. wolf, bear, lion, etc) steeped in tribal culture, but any zoo knows what simple dog paws mean. Some people are more bold and simply put their pet or lover's name with the print(s), depending on their level of commitment or knowledge.Anyway, that's just a short synopsis. Hope it helps.
Check my profile...Next step: both of my legs will get tattooed from the hip down, imitating mechanical horse legs like Thirty Thirty from the 'Bravestarr' series has, including a set of hooves on my feet.Followed by biomech arms from shoulder to fingers in corresponding style. And I will get the same number branded into my neck my mare has branded into hers, still undecided wether I should have her Hannover brand on my rear.It will interfere with the tats,so I'm still working out how to integrate that branding into the leg tattoos.
I'm the proud owner of a couple of paw print tattoos among others If anyone asks about them I just say I love dogs... and I can usually judge by reaction if they might think I mean anything but in a vanilla way.
I have none and will not get any!But if you like them ...enjoy!

I think they're sexy, despite what internet culture tries to tag it as. Besides, our boys deserve some level of commitment. I'm not ashamed of who I love, and hope the world will get it together one day. I have gay friends who had to go through the same thing once, and now wear the rainbow (flag, etc.) with pride for being accepted. Maybe the world will accept that some things are just natural and without shame, even if it takes a tat to make the point.
I don't have any but I may would get a paw print tattoo like on me tummy area

A little extravigant: yes. Fucking badass: you better believe it I personaly might have my arm done with a tribal zeta, and a horse shoe on the opposite arm. Maybe though.
Hiya Rebel,if you ever consider a vacation in Europe, let me know.I can handle the needles quite good,at least that's what my customers and the other artists, whose shops I work in,say. Not doing it fulltime yet, only 4 hours in the evening three times a week,I have to take care of my horse and the stable from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM,as you know. But I get called from various shop owners in my area, asking me for helping them out in the 'high customer fluctuation'-months for 3 years now...no complaints, not being sued yet,no one dropped dead, not one tattoo infected I use the Stigma Bizarre and the Dragonfly, inks from Eternal and Intenze,of course everything's sterile. For you,I can think of a chest motive with your chest ripped open, showing your heart that is composed of two horse heads, most likely portraits from your two mares.Or maybe doing a imitation of each mare's fur pattern on your upper arms,I already did a whole sleeve on a guy imitating tiger fur and a girls upper arm imitating flamingo feathers.I can even think of a big backpiece showing the famous Michelangelo painting from the Sixtinian Chapel, the one with this white bearded guy passing the godly spark to a human with his finger.I would alter it a bit...showing your first mare passing the spark onto you with her hoof. The possibilities for a 'personalised' tattoo are many, don't be satisfied with standard stuff like tribals and horse shoes.Special relationships deserve a very special tattoo IMHO ...And for the costs: Nevermind,I would only charge the materials used,'cause I love tattooing genuine horse people If you decide to get it done in the USA,pleeeezze send me the tattoists page link via PM...maybe I can prevent a bad decision of yours.I know, there are many brilliant tattoo artists in the USA,but they are largely outnumbered by their opposite.I'll be glad to take a look at your tattooists hp to check if he's able to draw the outlines straight and do the fillings and shading correctly.I have seen so many bad tattoos from overseas,so you better double-check your artists skills before you regret it. Remember: What's in the skin is there for the rest of your life...

Y mare takes most of my money However, you do bring good points and some neat ideas. I personaly am not entirely into overly flamboiant tatoos on myself, that's why I was thinking of more simplistic esigns. But I'm still not entirely convinced if I'm ever even getting any yet. Will just have to wait and see. But I sure will ask you questions when ithink of any.

I am getting some ink soon. I am getting a Clydesdale tattooed on my left calf and a Bull elephant on the right.
I wouldn't do the zeta,it will be a dead giveaway if its meaning is revealed to the public. The gay movement rainbow flag wasn't recognized by Joe Average 25 years ago...today,almost everyone is familiar with its meaning.Could easily happen to the zeta, too.Maybe not tomorrow, but someday in the future. It only needs another "crusader for zoo rights" interviewed by the national media, giving away the meaning of the zeta symbol. And I really doubt that the possibility of identifying zoos by the zeta tattoos will have any positive effect. When asked why you have that 'animal fucker sign' on your arm, what would you say to defend yourself?"I'm the greek Zorro..."?Choose something that can have multiple meanings like the horseshoe, not something that might possibly give you hell on earth. For example,I can easily interpret my tattoo as that of a diehard cartoon fan...the true meaning for me remains hidden.I still can explain its true meaning, but I maintain the control of whom I tell..A zeta with its meaning publicly known will take away the control....you can't e.g. go swimming, walk around barechested when it's f'in' hot outside etc. without the fear, someone from the 'anti-zoos' might see it,possibly exposing you in front of a big 'audience'.I don't want one of the few down-to-earth people in here running straight into trouble blindfolded, caused by a stupid little greek letter tattooed onto his arm, incidentally shown off to the wrong person...But let me make this clear: it's your skin and your decision.Do whatever you like....but please take my concerns about the zeta into your consideration.
