A contortionist fellating himself to the Benny Hill theme tune would be more enjoyable to watch than Madonna. Also this part of the forum is meant to be for discussion and serious posts on the subject of zoophilia, not just random general posts. They belong in general section. Anyway why decide everyone is going to be watching the game? You would have to pay me handsomely to sit through just 2 minutes of American football. Real footballs bad enough.

Real football is normal standard football, not the pansies version of rugby you Americans like to refer to as "football" That's why the prefix American is needed in front, to help separate it from the normal kind. If it was real it would be played by 2 teams of 11, without pads and helmets, using a spherical ball, where picking up and carrying the ball isn't allowed (hence the foot part of the name). That's the simple reason why it isn't real football. Because it's a totally different game.

I can see the correlation to Rugby. I had the privledge to play for my University's Rugby team. Which of these fine sports did you play to call any of them pansies? Pads or no I sure wouldnt want to take a hit from a 350 lb defensive tackle. Maybe you could handle it though eh? Either way 116 million estimated viewers will be watching the Pats and the Giants square off tomorrow. Pansies or no, people do enjoy it despite how much you want to belittle it. Anyway, you wont see anyone on here bashing the World Cup the day before the final match and I'd proudly tell anyone who did that they were being a horse's ass. And not the good kind.

I'm not bashing the superbowl, I just don't like the game of American football full stop. I have no ill feelings against those who enjoy it though and I never even slightly belittled it either. I just stated the simple fact that it isn't real football. Which in terms of the real game of football it isn't, and when you are used to watching a fair amount of rugby, American football does just look like the pansies version. I used to play rugby at school but it was a bit shit as there was only about 10 people who actually remotely took it seriously and that's 5 less than you need for a union team, and they don't play league type in schools round my way so I ended up playing hockey and was keeper for my school for 5 years and even played some county level stuff (field not ice). Also I wouldn't care if any one did genuinely belittle the world cup as I find real football incredibly dull most of the time too. I would most likely join in with the piss taking

If you're going to use the cheese analogy then I would say to be more accurate American football is to real football what cheddar and bacon flavour Spray cheese in a can is to proper vintage cheddar.By that I mean that they are both cheese though one is a long way from the real thing.

Pun intended So you're genuinely trying to tell me that American football is really similar to real football. That is what your saying yes? My analogy was based on the fact that from my knowledge the 2 things are really quite incredibly different. There's far more differences than there are similarities. You've actually managed to make this into a thing when initially all I was doing was implying I dislike Madonna's music and saying I have no wish to watch any American football as I don't like it. Got a problem with that? Think that my reluctance to watch a sporting event containing a game I dislike is somehow belittling?

I was just giving you a little ribbing because you called it a "pansies version of rugby." Those were your words, buddy, not mine. Hell, sports is about talking a little bit of trash, so I played along. Not sure why you're getting all upset about it now. If you're going to say things like American Football isn't "real" or use words like "pansies" are you really expecting that no one is gonna give you a little bit of a hard time for that? C'mon, you KNOW that is asking for it. Sheesh man... didn't realize I had gotten to you. I don't have a problem with you disliking something but going around trash-talking it doesn't really make much sense to me if you aren't wanting to talk about it. Sorry if I offended you pal. Thought you'd see that the cheese analogy was me not taking this all too seriously, it's late and I was having some fun. Thought you were too. Have a good night, alright?

Sorry I actually thought you were the one getting genuinely offended, i've had to many problems with people getting offended over nothing recently so my patience has somewhat diminished. Is nearly 5am here so kinda gone past being late You didn't get to me at all I just didn't want someone else to start getting all butt hurt and moany as I really can't be dealing with any more whining atm so I thought i'd conclude things. Though the use of the term real was simply a way of separating between the game that americans refer to as football and the actual game of football. Like actual football, the game played by kicking a ball with the foot. The game that is referred to primarily as football in nearly every country in the world except as far as I can think 2 (maybe 3). Hence the soubriquet real.

No there was some sports program that used to be on TV that would show different sports from round the world and some weeks have an in depth focus on a specific one. The thing is the only one I really remember properly was when they looked at Hurling and that was just because it looked like so much fun to play. If I hadn't seen Aussie rules before then that clip you posted would have been even more meaningless to me as to what was actually going on.

He's a waterboy for the local college football(american) team, when the coach soon discovers a hidden talent within Bobby. Unfortunately to his overbearing mother, who despises the sport and tries her hardest to prevent Bobby from playing the sport. She believes and repeatedly states, "Bobby, that foosball's the devil!" Yeah, well we're pretty self righteous here in america We have a complicated unit of measure...that we call "standard." And we steal the term "football" from the rest of the world, even though it's not played with the feet.

I don't give a stuff if it's AFL VFL american grid iron, rugby, Gallic, to me soccer is a real game "no hands all feet" except for the goalie. No defense and offence squads on each team so the "others" can have a rest. You play, you "stay" on the field unless seriously injured.
