I love them because they do not judge us. They can care less about our "flaws". People we call friends will come into our lives. They will talk behind our backs, betray us, and lie straight to our faces......... dogs don't. People will tell you, "my dog would die for me". It is true, a dog would die to protect his or her family. But the same people who tell you this would never die for a dog would they? To them, a dog is "just a dog" and a "thing". But WE as zoophiles love dogs alot more than others right? We feel that we have a stronger bond with them than any other non zoo. This may be true, but are all "zoos" this way? It seems as if anyone can go and screw a dog and call themselves a "zoo" and "a dog lover". I've actually talked to a person who calls himself a zoo. He tells me that he loves dogs. He feeds them and gives them shelter. But I never sensed any "love" between him and his dog. He tells me he puts a muzzle on his dog to "be safe" while he tries anything with her. He even tells me that he will occasionally drug her before he has sex with her. I asked myself, why would a fellow "zoo" abuse a dog like that? I wish I could have gotten more info on him so I can report him and stop him from hurting his own dog that "he loves". I know MANY of us love dogs for the friendship and love they give us, you guys and gals are here.I also KNOW that there are some out there, reading this thread, that force their dogs to have sex. You force dogs into sex and you call it "love". Please do not call it love. Don't lie to yourselfThere are also lurkers curious about sex with dogs, you too are reading this thread, be curious about friendship and a trusting bond with a dog first, please put that before any sex. So what do YOU truly love dogs for? The friendship or sex? I hope there's no similar threads, I searched.
I love them because they are loyal. my dog marley almost never leaves my side. he will sit only lap when I watch tv and of course I scratch behind his ears. he will sit on my lap when I read. I will sleep on my bed and try to take over leaving almost no room for me. he has more personality than a lot of people I know. not to mention half the time hit is like he is trying to talk to me. he will respond to what I say and questions. if I give a command he will always bark in reply before doing the command and not one bark are the same for different questions or commands. there are times where he will give me a look and a quiet sort of grunt if I tell him we are goin on a walk and it is raining outside. so that's pretty much a few of the things I love about my dog. the sex thing is not an option for me for he was neutered at a young age and never has or will be sexually active so I have yet to experience that. which in my mind is ok. as far as I'm concerned the sex would just be a perk and would not be the reasons for the relTionship.

I was just so mad at this guy for abusing his dog that I needed to vent a bit. I can't even stop him or get in touch with him to tell him to stop. He took a fantasy of his a little too far.

in my humble opinion it may have got worded wrong - but this is not a thread about zoo vs beast - because beast doesnt mean rapist - beast means peeps who are not "in love" with thier animals - and maybe dont even "love" thier animals - but it does not mean that they dont care about thier animals or abuse them - and they are quite quite welcome here - what nelly discribed is not a beast - hes just a scumbag - he's not a "fellow zoo" - nor is he a "fellow beast" - and in now way should it be applied to the many members of our community who do have sexual animal realtions but are not zoo exclusive or are not "in love" with the animals that they have relations with -it is quite alright to have a lot of anger over the actions of this individual - and it would have been okay to voice that anger - but since it got kind of tangled up in the zoo vs beast controversy I am just going to lock this one up before it becomes a pissing contest - as our definitions for the site are not open for discussion -end of conversation
