Read up on a lot of the guides here and make sure you know your body and the dog well. Know you limits and get ready with your fingers, toys, etc. Use lube and make sure you know you can take how big the dog is. If it's a big dog there is not much if anything to do to stop him once it's going, so make sure you know what you are doing. It does help to have someone else there if there is someone you trust. Go slow and have no second thoughts, if you freak out you could freak the dog ou and someone could get hurt.

Well first I would read up on all the pertinent FAQ sheets pinned to the top of the How To section. As they say, "forewarned is forearmed". After that practicing with some toys, especially those of the dog shaped variety, which are now common, couldn't hurt.
