Hi there folks. OK, sharing and enjoying doggy kisses is common, and I've also heard many people discuss how much they enjoy kissing their horses, and how lovely they feel their horse's tongues are. I know that calves love to suck men's penises, but kissing cows couldn't be done for very long because you'd lose the skin on your mouth or face because of the extreme roughness of their tongues. Their kisses would be even more painful than cats. But one animal that I've never heard anyone mention kissing at all is pigs. Is there any particular reason for this? Perhaps it is the general smell of a pig pen that would keep pig owners from kissing them I don't know. Or, maybe it's their breath. What got me thinking about this is, that people say that pigs are even smarter than dogs, so presumably this would mean that a pig would easily figure out what a person would want them to do. So, is it that they're just not into kissing, or would they be more likely to bite a person rather than kiss? Has anyone ever experienced this kind of intimacy with a pig, and if so, how was it? Is a pig another one of those animals with a very rough tongue like a cow, or are their tongues more smooth like a horse? I was just wondering if this was possible and if anyone has ever tried it.Shy

Maybe lipstick would help--*Thinks of recent politics*I have a sow who's pretty tame, (tame enough to do missionary) but something odd about pigs: They seem to have way more teeth than is standard for mammals, and , I suppose to help with rooting in the ground, the ones in front stick WAY out forward. Not outside the lips like a bulldog, but really intimidating to look at if you open their mouth. I always put a stick of wood crossways in my sow's mouth when I need her to take meds, just to be on the safe side, even tho' she has never tried to bite. Quite the opposite, in fact--she tries to push my fingers out. That home videos show on TV has had a few people try to kiss potbellies, and they often snap at them. One last week did. Their tongues seem stickier than normal, fairly smooth, and a bit pointed. Never seen one do any licking, but the snout is very nimble. Maybe they use that instead of licking.Interesting question, thanks.

I'm a big fan of boars but I wouldn't want to kiss one. Way to many big teeth.

Thanks so much neandernitz and dirtbiker2000 for so patiently answering my question here. Oh well, I guess I've got to prove that I'm blind once in a while. Of course, the big teeth. Guess that's why it's never been mentioned and probably very rarely been done. No wonder that you laughed like hell neandernitz when you first read that question and I don't blame you. Just picturing a pig's jaw in your mind and then reading my question, well, I guess that would be funny as hell. But let's face it, where else could I ever ask a question like this but here? This is what makes the BF forum so great and you both were such sports about it. The only time I ever saw a pig was back when I was about five years old. At the time we were living in Massachusetts and we went to this place called Endeen Farm. Well, I don't know what got into my dad because generally he was a pretty quiet person and was certainly never one to brag. But on this particular day, he said to me, "Do you know that I can call all those pigs that are way over on the other side of the pen?" Well, I guess I didn't believe him. Well, my dad had never lived on a farm and was never a person that was overly fond of animals. Mind you, he never liked to see any animal get hurt, but he never had a real close relationship with an animal either. Anyway, all of a sudden, in a high falsetto voice, he started saying "Sue pig suuuuue pig" and they all came running, grunting and snorting and I actually became a bit frightened and I stepped back because they were all making so much noise and rushing toward the side of the pen where dad and I were standing. I remember being amazed that dad could do that. I do remember patting a pig or two and feeling their bristles which felt very different than a dog's furr and I remember being very surprised at the feeling. There may have been one other time in school that I saw a pig, but it has always fascinated and intrigued me that so many people say that pigs are smarter than dogs, because I've known some pretty smart dogs in my life. Anyway, thanks so much for answering this perhaps very silly question. Oh well, we all live and learn I guess, pardon the ignorance.Shy

Thats quite an interesting post and yes pigs are a very clever animal. Heres another fact that I find very interesting. You mentioned that your dad used the suueeee call to call the pigs. Well pigs are memebers of the family Suidae. Strange how you can call members of the family suidae to you by calling suueee don't you think. Well I found it odd anyway. I mean you wouldn't call a dog by shouting Caaannnniiiii or a horse by calling equuuiiiiii. And heres a picture of a pigs skull so you can get a good look at those teeth. Theres a good fact behind the use of pigs for getting rid of bodies like in some films (eg one of my personal favourites Snatch). And one of the reasons that passing out in a busy pig pen could be very terminal indeed if your on your own.

dirtbiker2000my friend, you may not realize it but you have just paid me the greatest complement that you could have possibily given me in that last post. You offered me a picture to look at so I could get a good look at a pig's head and "those teeth" as you said. Well my friend, I'm afraid I would not be able to take advantage of that picture because I'm totally blind. But by posting a picture for me to look at, that makes me see that you think of me as being absolutely no different from anyone else and I truly appreciate that complement dirtbiker2000,and I wish that other people would do the same. I'm not talking about the people here as much, because it's easy for people not to think of me as being blind if all they are seeing is my writing. They can almost forget that I can't see. But when people meet me face to face, yes, some people feel comfortable with me right from the beginning, but other people get all twitched about accidentally using one of those words like "look" "watch" or "see," as if once one of those words has slipped out, I'm going to really take offense. I wish people didn't get so up tight when they met me. What I usually tell them is, "Hey, there's nothing to worry about, those words don't bother me. Heck, I use them too. I mean, if I didn't, that would make my speech sound too different and I wouldn't want that. On the other hand there just might be an advantage to that. I can see myself leaving a really nice woman that I'd met and saying feel you later." Anyway, the interesting thing I've noticed is that universally, dogs don't have anywhere near the hang ups that people do in terms of dealing with a blind person. They are not embarrassed by us, they do not judge us negatively like some people do. They don't get nervous or up-tight. They just automatically make adjustments in their mind, and realize that if they want to get pets from me, they can't stand a foot in front of me and expect me to know that they're there. So if I'm busy doing something they'll usually bump my hand or my knee with their nose, or sometimes put their nose right in my hand. Even when dogs that are under my care have to go out, they realize that they can't pace at the door, so they have to somehow communicate to me what they want, and they are amazingly clever at doing that. I have the greatest respect for dogs for making so little of my blindness like so many people do. And I also have a great deal of respect for you dirtbiker2000because you totally forgot that I was blind, and just posted a pic for me to see just like you'd do for anyone else, and as I said before, I can't think of a nicer, more meaningful complement than that! Thanks again pal.Shy

It's a charming picture. They both look like they're really into it, in their own innocent ways.I was going to upload this yesterday, but couldn't find it on my hard drive. I know someone e-mailed it to me last fall. DUH, Google it! I only got a page full of hits.

Doesn't hurt them, tho', they just get antibodies to it without obvious symptoms.
