Seems like there's very little mention of Neo's, which surprises me a bit. No pics or vids in Homemade (at least that Search will turn up). Wonder why. Any ideas? Discussion, please?

Suppose they're not really a very common breed tbh thats why you don't see or hear alot of them. I think one reason is they do tend to look a bit saggy. Kind of like the skin was meant for a dog 6'' taller Also I don't know for sure but would imagine they are the type of breed that you would need to get from a breeder and that would probably cost quite alot as I can't imagine that you get that many ending up in shelters. I have a big soft spot of Weimaraners and Rhodesians and again there seems to be very little mention of them. I think I found 2 pics of a weim willy in a thread in the genitalia section and thats all i've ever seen from either breed. Theres lots of other breeds that you just don't seem to see here. Also moving away from dog breeds to cows for a minute i've never ever seen or heard mention here of anyone with dexter cows. They're so small and cute i'm suprised theres not more cattle lovers out there with them. It does seem that alot of pics and videos you see are mainly from a few breeds. Labs, Rotties, Pits and Danes especially. Mainly I guess as they're more popular in general so there are more breeders, meaning theres more chance of finding a small breeder you can get one from where maybe the price isn't so high.

Some of the videos in Male Homemade of guys shagging cows are clearly adult mini's, and some of them are Very ample in the backside. I'm pretty sure the ones that look like miniature Angus are Dexters.

I think its just not mentioned for a variety of reasons. The main one being that they simply aren't as popular in general as a dog breed to own. I don't think that have a bad rep or anything like that. Its just that some breeds are generally more popular at different times.

Can you imagine if they were that big I mean irish Wolfhounds are big but that would be ridiculous

That first one has been around forever-- since before Photoshop. It's almost certainly real. Well, OK, maybe not-- The second one looks about right, tho'. There's a lot of them on Youtube, including a looooooooong one of mating/tied pair. (Most of them seem to be publicity for breeders.) Just seems odd no one here has them. Wondering if they make really lousy pets, are horribly unsound or something. There are so many other mastiffs here, seems like neo's would be a natural.*I'd pay money if that first one was real. My donkey would have a new friend. *

Interesting question, Neandernitz. I'd love to own one some day but the ones I've seen are rather pricey.LTD

Well I know the Argentinian Mastiffs (Dogo Argentino)are banned in several countries due to their aggressive nature but haven't heard of similar problems with the neopolitans. I think looks and price are the main factors.

Not only are Neos a bit pricy and in limited supply they are not very long lived. They also have a lower popularity with a lot of people as their droopy faces are just not attractive to many folks and, well they eat a LOT so feeding them is a big expense. Now to to those tooprevious pics. Many dog people I know believe the first one to be a fake, and as it is believed to originate prior to photoshop it is most likely a cut and feather work. If you ever see a large copy the edges of the dog are odly sharp (like they were cut out) and pasted into the pic with the horse. The second pic is of a younger dog at almost mature size. Looks like it was taken at a dog show. Of the few neos I have been encountered of their temperments are pretty much laid back dogs that don't seem rattled by much.

It is a shame that you don't see much of them as they are absolutely brilliant dogs. I am looking to adopt one when I am working less and in a better position to adopt another dog. The few experiences I have had with them have been extremely good, they just seem to have the most beautiful personalities.
