Personally I have seen male dogs bite a bitch on the scruff of her neck if he is having problems entering. You, not having this physical feature, he used your shoulder instead. I doubt if it was done in anger but rather in passion. That doesn't make it hurt any less... I suggest some further training is needed. or possible shoulder pads. Maybe wear something around your neck that will serve a a scruff. He can safely sink his teeth into that to hold his "bitch" in place. (That term is not meant as a slur).Have fun,
Well, I'm of generally the same opinion as warrior on this one. However, like all behavioral issues, not being able to see him and what he's doing and how you're reacting, and I mean this in a frank asexual sense, greatly limits the kind of evaluation anyone can give on this matter. I do disagree on one thing though. Allowing him to bite but using a sweater etc. is probably not the best thing to do. It only encourages him to continue this habit. Moreover I would not necessarily punish him when he does it, but blantantly and immediately call a halt to all sexual activity and in an obvious angry manner, get up firmly and walk away. The angry part being so that he can see that you were displeased by the biting, and the immediate cessation of sex will let him know, that biting will only insure that sex will stop. Hopefully he'll be smart enough to catch on. But as it is letting him bite or hold you and you still jerking him off; is only rewarding him for that behavior which is going to make him continue.
My pony did the same thing and I let him know in no uncertain terms that it was unacceptable. He learned very quickly, and now nuzzles me and rests his nose on my shoulder as he breeds instead of using his teeth. He pushes with his teeth to balance himself, but no longer grips with them. He figured this out all on his own after three or four aborted sessions, I'm very proud of him And its so much easier on everyone when he doesn't bite. Nibbling is fun, but biting is not allowed.With a dog I'd be even more firm with him. Horses bite to get balance, dogs bite out of dominance. Absolutely forbid it, in my opinion.

The male canine will sometimes nip or bite the bitch to get her stand up or stand still. Well I've had a similar experience when i was trying to get a german sheppard to mount me, he kept pulling out and couldn't get his knot in T_T. Everytime he stopped and got off me i'd try to stand up and he'd give me a nip on my butt to try and make me stay whenever i moved or tried to stand up, to tell the truth i kind of liked it ^~^, he just left red marks no blood, but still we didn't get tied sadly.

If I stand up straight about five foot five and half inches and hit the scales at seven stone eight pounds, in metric that is about 50 Kg and 1.1650 m. This body ain't do what it used to be, but I would love to get out there and relive some of my past experiences.

I would highly recommend that you nip this biting behavior of his in the bud as soon as possible! When a dog bites like that, he is showing his dominance over you, and that is not something to be encouraged at all. By giving him what he wanted after he bit you, that's exactly what you were doing, encouraging him to continue biting you. If this behavior is not stopped now, it could escolate and very easily get out of control, and then he would be running your life. I have known of women that this has happened to, that have been completely control by their dogs to the point that they didn't dare move if their dog was in a bad mood, who had to feed their dog first before even thinking about their own meals and who had lots of clothing torn to shreds. You need to assert yourself and show this dog that you, are the alpha and not him, that you are the highest member of the pecking order in that household. Otherwise you could run into serious problems down the road. Any sexual activity should completely stop until you have this biting problem completely under control. Being bitten is just not an acceptable behavior and he needs to learn that REAL FAST!Shy
Don't encourage this behavior. I agree that you should stop sex immediately if he bites you. That will teach him that you don't like it.
