I got a feeling zoo's are really curious people, since beastiality isnt considered common you must have thought outside the box. How often do you wonder about things most people don't care about? Im always asking questions, making this poll shows im curious
I suppose in my case your hypothesis is confirmed, since I'm notoriously curious. o.oApart from being a glutton for useless factoids - devouring popular science stuff, and spending hours on wikipedia - it's been pointed out to me that I'm inordinately interested in other people's thoughts and feelings..
I am a ferret, lean and nosy ! Of course I am curious. I Have to know what is going on around the next corner ! At least I have sense enough not to take silly risks. Wish I could say the same about ferrets !
Nope, I'm not that curious..sure I often think about other things..but in quite a few cases the interest isn't big enough to find out what's behind it.
About some things yes, but not all things. So it depends on what it is. Hmmm, just curious, 16 votes and only 4 post, now that is curouis
I would say i'm very curious. I like knowing things and whilst i can be patient, it wont stop me from wanting to know it this second
I'm terribley curious always get myself into trouble because of it although like I always say Curiousity may have killed the cat but did nothing wrong to the dog. I think if you arn't curious you can never know or find out what things are like in life I guess in some way you have to be curious to be zoo
I'm very curious...always got my nose in a book, wikipedia, college books, science, psychology, philosophy, etc and always watching the science channel or history channel or discovery channel...the list goes on, I always enjoy finding out more about everything and anything
Yep, curious , thats me.Regular sponge when it comes to knowledge.
I'm really curious and proud of it! There's nothing bad about being curious as long as you also have respect. I always say: Asking anyone anything is in order, but don't expect anyone to answer! ;-)Prank

But also, I am sure you are curious about your quest.

But also, I am sure you are curious about your quest. hehe, I consider it a mixture of both, really...knowledge isn't learned on your own unless you have a curiousity to learn, I look into stuff all the time, even the origons of our often-used phrases and such, I just hear things and think 'Why do we say that?' and start researching it...knowledge and curiousity go hand in hand I think
Yes I am curious, but generally speaking I am so lazy and procrastinating, that I rarely act on those feelings. Take for example this thread, I wanted to read it right away, but took a nap furst, than sat and thought about opening up that page. All in all, took me about 2 hrs before I actually opened this thread. Then another 2-3 hours to actually post this response. Heck the proceeding sentence took more than 10 minutes to compose. Now if you excuse me I need to take a cat nap before typing another response in the chat room!1

Interesting question and I'm glad you brought it up. As for me, I am very curious about many things, as anyone who has read many of my posts can attest to. I am curious to know what life is like in many countries that most people have never even heard of, like Burkina Faso, Togo or Easter Island for example. I am very curious about animals, just how they think, what they think and how they view us humans. One thing I've always wished I could know somehow, was if my guide dog Blazer ever dreamed about guiding me. I know that he often dreamed about running, and occasionally he'd bark in his sleep, but I often wondered if he dreamed about doing guide work since this was a major part of his life. But to answer your question, yes I am very curious about many things especially since I have no conception of color and can't see the world like most of you can. My whole world is a word of sound and touch, and that's why I ask so many questions about non-domestic animals which may be totally obvious to you, but they are not to me.Shy
Yeah, I guess I am a bit curious about things. I tend to have odd thoughts about how things work and I like reading science mags, especially when stuff about paleotology comes up (a throwback to my childhood obsession with dinosaurs such). Also, as an OT aside, I have to say that Pggirl has a great avi.
I'm definitely the curious sort. I like to know how things work, and I love learning new things. Non-fiction literature is my favorite. I'm very interested in the sciences and technology.
i see my self as a curious person, i stick to my guns about most every thing, and i mean wat i say.but i do like to go out and have a good time, and play around
I think it human nature to be inquisitive , and whats that old saying about the grass being greener on the other side of the fence.

However, if there's something I want to know, I'll find out. As regarding bestiality, I have my sources. A whole lot of them are somewhat unreliable though, since there's a lot of contradicting information out there. Luckily there's this website.
Im not really a zoo person I just always wondered what it would be like to have sex with a horse.I'd do a dog but something about horses that make me get off a little especially mares, mares are sexy in a weird way.
Curious as can be here
Yes, I have a constant everlasting curiosity in my search for the answer to one question... Why?
Well I guess the name gives it away ......
Courisousty killed the cat, and got me in hot water a few times. When I was a kid I loved pulling things apart to see how they work. Got most of them back together........
This is a very interesting poll, German08, thanks for initiating it. I'm so curious to see the results! LOLIt does follow that we zoo enthusiests wouldn't be where we are right now if it weren't for an acute sense of curiosity. Most of humankind will hardly dare to take a tiny step ouside the established path; Not me, I take running leaps into unknown areas, often hitting brick walls and other such obsticles. When society says "don't go there", I HAVE to investigate why it is forbiden. I have learned a lot of things - or maybe, mor accuratly, I have come to many conclusions which don't alighn with how most people view the the world in which we live. What do they know anyway? Just curious!

I am very curious . I like to try new things and find out secrets that not a lot of people know about
I'd consider myself to be a fairly curious basset.
I am curious, but not too curious.QUOTE Yes I am curious, but generally speaking I am so lazy and procrastinating, that I rarely act on those feelings. This is me, too.
i'm too curious. in that way that for most people it's annoying. when i was 12, i start to read every book about science. obsessed with it. and love to read sci-fi books. don't like my village, i feel like i don't belong here. nothing to discover. boring.
I think my curiosity is summed up be the fact i seem to live by the phrase "Wonder what happens if I press this button, which is clearly marked "Do Not Press"... I mean, it's got to be put there for a reason..." ...of course, that's usually followed by an "...oops..."
yep!!>....... i am a straight female..but i like beastuality/yiff/yaoi/malexmale/bdsm/torture/anthro/rape/in cest/animalxanimal/furry/costume/plushies/toys/sadism/masochism/mytholigical/crossdressing/cross-species/goru/voyerism/masterbation/blood and gore/vore/strangulation/self harm/multible partners,orgy/underage yaoi/body mod/ ...... lol
I have always been the courious type...always finding something to do, be it right or wrong, but always courious.!!
I'm as curious as a kender. Sans "finding" other people's belongings, of course. My mind is always working (or wondering). I'm not nosy or anything, but yeah I like to explore and experience. It's a big world, and there's a lot in it. New and interesting things always catch my eye.Good thread topic, by the way!
I'm an extremely curious person by nature. I'm always looking for whats around the corner.
VERY CURIOUSWhen I watch TV it is one of the History Channels, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet about 75% of the time. Rest would be sports, the occasional movie and limited news reports. My favorite author would probably be David McCullough (Truman, John Adams, 1776, etc) who was a master of opening up history and making it relevant. I love learning new things!
I would have to say yes, I'm very curious. I'm curious about a great many things.
[FONT=Arial][SIZE=1][COLOR=red] I am always curious about things and the curioust is not done till i either actually see it or try it for myself, then I know for sure.but like someone else said you never know unless you ask or you can exsperience it.and thats what i want from this site, to see it, exsperience it and go from there.its a very exciting feeling!!!
It depends on what it is. I can become obsessed about some things for a week or two and totally not give it (whatever it is) a second thought the next day. It comes in spurts. *giggle*
I would definitely say that I am curious. Even before I knew what zoophilia was, I was doing things with my dog at an early age... I think everyone has a certain level of curiousity in them... it is whether they are brave enough to find out more information about it that allows them to act on their curiousities... That's just my take on it...
Curiosity kills me, and I'm not even a cat. That's how curious I am
If i werent a lot courious i wouldnt have found out this forum

Im always asking questions, making this poll shows im curious Yes zoo's typically are very curious people, but for some (like me) being a zoo isn't a choice or matter of curiosity. I was born attracted to animals, I have no sexual feelings or thoughts about humans. That makes me a zoo exclusive. Its actually kind of cool because being a zoo runs in my family. At least one in every generation.
i'm a very very curious person... i might be shy at times ...but i'm always curious... mrs.k9c
I am pathologically curious (and hence are a point in favor of your theory), I remember once as I was little, I started asking my father the usual million questions in chain small kids ask, he said that "curiosity killed the cat" proverb, I asked "why? what did the cat wanted to know?", the same question I used in my degree thesis 20+ years later and I keep searching the answer for...
[B][FONT=Arial][SIZE=1][COLOR=red]I am curious about most things, and beasty is one thing i am really curious about!!!
I'm more curious than is good for me... I tend to get way too interested in things and annoy people by assuming that they want to know as much about them as I do...lol
It's my curiosity that make me try a dog.
Very good question! I havent been on in a while, but im glad to be back. Ive always been a curious person. As a child I would take things apart to see how they worked, explore places I hadnt been to before. I still like to do both of those, but my curiousity has gone other directions in the last 10 years or so. Im still finding new things I like every day.
A lot curious that makes me try wierd things
I suppose you can say I am , I always wanted to try anything and was interested in a wide array of things...

I'm an insanely curious person. Gets me in trouble sometimes. That's one of the reasons I became a part of the LiveJournal community - to read my friends' and random people's thoughts on different topics. The first thing I do in the morning is go to MSN and read general interest stories, then proceed here, then on to LJ. I read. It's what I do.
i tend to be curious about any number of misc things. Though i tend to procrstinate a lot, which means i end up learning nothing, unless it has to do with weird sports/talents. Like dice staking, or juggling, or footbag (search footbag on youtube). Though i do like to know whats troubling my friends if somethings wrong.
Very curious This is a pure Curse
I'm very curious and always have been...I like to know things, to do things. This has lead to me being a GIANT pain in the ass more than once in my life.

I threw the box out a long time ago, but I do live in a really angry triangle But seriously, I have a high level of curiosity but a low level of ability to express my curiosities, if that makes any sense

Curious about EVERYTHING. How does this work? Why? Who are they? What did they do? Why did that happen? Where does this go? I can't stand not knowing a question that comes to my mind (or is posed to me). I know it's not always accurate but that 'pedia site (not sure if I should mention it by name, you know the one) is a godsend (as background reading) & I books. My only regret is that I'll never know everything there is to know in my lifetime.I also enjoy the journey of discovery as much (if not more) as the destination.DC x
Not very curious here, as I have done pretty much everything i have been curious about
I do consider myself curious.
Im very curious. In fact I am very curious about us Zoos in particular. I wanna know why the way that we are..
Yes I am very curious, it will probably kill me one day lol. Oh well they say knowledge is power and I have a long way to go to having either. But yes people interest me the most.
