A few days ago, I was browsing through the archives of this section of the forum when I came across a discussion of a videothat really disturbed some forum members because a dog could clearly be heard crying in this video. However, after much deliberation it was determined that the dog that was crying was another dog and not the dog engaged in having sex. I bring this post up not to embarrass the creater of that video, I am only bringing it up to let you know just how I came up with the idea for this poll.Well, this got me to thinking that most dogs probably do make some kind of sounds during love making whether it be sighs or moans or cries or even short yips, and because each individual dog is different, I thought it would be interesting to find out just when your dog makes the greatest amount of vocalizations. Is it when you're fingering her, when you're eating her out, when penetrating her, all of the above or none of the above? And I guess there are some dogs that do not vocalize much at all during sex. Unfortunately, I am not even going to be able to vote in my own poll because I have never had this kind of experience with a female dog though I sure hope to someday. Also, I would like to be able to hear some of these dog vocalizations since I've never heard them before, so if you're willing to provide me with any audio samples, please pm me and we can discuss this further. I think this should be a very interesting thread.Shy

My dogs remains absolutely quiet when she has sex with me. It's been this way with all the dogs I've been active with, except for a husky bitch who really started to shout (between barking and howling) when she was climaxing.I never had a dog that started whining. This wouldn't be a sign of happiness.Prank

Hi,This is an interesting pollI just want to add a few points. One thing to concider is that each girl will be different, so there is really no way to "generalize" I have been with several girls in my time, and some would start moaning as soon as i started to enter, some the whole time i was haveing sex, some were very quiet the whole time, while others only while climaxing and some afterwards. As long as it is not a painful or distressing cry it is ok. If she's crying out in pain or fustratioin then things should stop then and there.Tundra

Absolutely Tundra, I couldn't agree with you more.smile.gifIf your dog is crying out in pain at all, you should stop immediately because that means you're hurting her and that's not fair to do to her at all! Secondly, while it is impossible to generalize about the vocalization behavior of all dogs because they can be so different from dog to dog, at least this way you can record the results of your current dog's vocalizations in this poll, but then leave comments here about the many other dogs that you've had over the years which means that a whole lot more dogs can be commented on than just through the poll alone. It will be rather interesting to see which option gets the most votes, because I don't know if a poll like this has ever been done before.Shy

The only time I've heard ANY vocalizing was when breeding a second-heat female to an older stud dog, and it only lasted 15-20 seconds, and she got quiet, which is good, since I know of no way to break a tie after it's started.....

My dyce has only ever cried once whilst we have been in a passionate position. It worried me as soon as it started, but i realised that it was me leaning on her tail with my knee. Other than that there is no noise at all.

OK, I'm going to go off topic for just a moment here, but as you'll see, this is actually related to the poll, and to the topic of a dog's sounds while having sex. This is probably going to seem rather pointless to you that I would have done this as a totally blind person. Last night I downloaded a couple of movies from the site, just to see if I might actually get lucky and find one in which I could hear a female dog's moans of pleasure while being penetrated. While it's true that I am missing out on most of the errotisism of these movies by only being able to hear and not see them, I still figured they would be educational for me. Now, unfortunately I don't have the program on my system that joins pieces of avi files together into a single video, and this is because I don't know how well a screen reader will handle this program. So my downloads had to be limited to Windows Media Player mov files. I downloaded a fascinating movie of a woman and her great dane getting it on, and it wasn't nearly as loud, frantic and violent as I thought it might be. Of course, I'm sure that many stories that are written about sex between dogs and humans really exaggerate the violence that exists, and the strength and fury of the orgasms as well. After all, that's what sells. I will say this though, when I heard this great dane panting, it really aroused me and made me realize how terribly much I miss seeing any dogs these days. I feel so lonely and empty without them, they are truly such wonderful companions.Next I downloaded a movie dealing with a dog's orgasm, and I expected it to be very vocal but in this case it wasn't. So, if there's anyone on this site that is really familiar with all the movies that are available on this forum, and you can direct me to a Media Player movie that will give me the idea of the kind of vocalizations that some dogs can make during intercourse or, you would be willing to share with me an avi file all put together for me, perhaps you can pm me and we can work out just how I can retrieve it. Alternatively a good mp3 or wma file will do nicely as well. I just want to get an idea of the kind of sounds that dogs sometimes make during the sex act since sound is literally my entire world. I realize that this must be rather difficult for most of you to comprehend. Thanks in advance for your help, and although it doesn't make much sense for me to get an ilete membership to the BF forum because there's not that much that I can get out of the movies especially when they have no sound at all, after last night's experience, I am certainly more interested in BF movies than I ever actually thought I'd be.Shy

Based on the poll replies, I must say I'm surprised so see vocalizations are so common when compared to silence, and I find that somewhat hard to believe. I have no personal experiences to speak from, so I'll just have to take people's word for it.I've always known animals to be quiet in general, they just don't vocalize the same ways humans do. Even painful experiences may not elicit a vocal response from animals unless it is sudden and unexpected. Where a human might constantly cry out in a pain, an animal might be completely silent. To make it clear, I'm not talking about anything sexual here, just general responses. If animals are mostly silent to pain or discomfort, it seems logical to assume they would be silent to pleasure as well. One of the problems I have with vocalizations is that especially in humans, "moans of pleasure" are illogical and don't make much sense other than a form of communication to a partner involved, or other superfluous reasons. For this reason, and from what I stated above, I have difficulty imagining such responses in animals. Orgasm can change breathing patterns, so I can understand maybe panting or sighing or other light vocalizations, but not a moan of pleasure in a traditional sense. Heavier sounds might result from breathing in an odd position, where air flow doesn't pass through normally, and would probably just be coincidental to breathing itself.Again, I cannot speak from personal experience, just a logical approach to the subject. I'm not saying vocalizations are impossible, but it seems like wishful thinking to expect vocalizations by default, and I have a hard time believing they're as common as the poll results indicate.

I know what you mean ZetterGRD, I must admit that I'm rather surprised myself. I personally thought, based on some of the comments that were left here, that silence would have received the most votes. However, this poll hasn't been up for a full week yet so it's still relatively early in the voting process and things can certainly change as the results of this poll continue to mount. One thing that I can say though, is that not all dogs accept pain so stoically that they remain quiet in the process. Certainly some dogs do, my former guide dog Blazer among them. If for example he got a thorn caught in one of his paws, he'd hop around a bit which let me know that there was something wrong, but he would not cry out in pain. On the other hand, my room mate's little Australian cattle dog Shadoe was a real cry baby in that regard. So I think that just like different people have different threshholds for pain, I'm sure it is the same for dogs and other animals as well. You raised a very interesting point though ZetterGRD in that often when a woman is moanning during orgasm, that is at least in part, and perhaps not even on a conscious level to communicate a positive message to her lover that what he's doing to her at the moment is really making her feel good. However, this obviously wouldn't occur to a dog in the same way. A female dog isn't going to analyze the situation and think to herself, "Oh, I've got to make some noises now so that I can communicate to my master that I am feeling good." So I guess the bottom line is, for some women and some dogs, it is just natural to be vocal while enjoying sex, while for other women and other dogs, it is just as natural to be quiet. Thanks very much ZetterGRD for your comments. I found them very interesting. It will be interesting to see how the results change as this poll continues, and I would also love to hear from people that have had a number of different dogs. It will be very interesting to see how each of your dog lovers reacted differently to sex.Shy

my husky makes a strange grunting type noise when I get my dick all the way inside her, past that internal ring. other than that, she is quiet. She also does something similar after we are finished.

Pretty much agree with Tundra. Most of the girls I've bred are generally quiet until right after its over. Have seen very few that were vocal during the act.

Mine was pretty quiet, but what she lacked in vocals she made up for in energy. Usually about the only time I'd hear anything out of her during sex was during her climax; she'd breathe heavier ("huff and puff and blow the house down!" lol) during that time. She'd also breathe a bit harder during mine, depending on how vocal I was.

I'm not sure how to describe it. Kind of a pant, with her mouth closed, and teeth exposed, eyes reduced to small slits, head high in the air, and maybe a small 'wimper' when I release into her.Other then that she stays pretty quiet, unless you want to count the bark when she wants it but I'm too busy with something else.

Hmmm, I wasn't sure what to answer here. My dog is vocal during foreplay, but we usually roughhouse and tease so the vocals are more because of that... ie, her trying to mount and me moving away or me stimulating her with my fingers then stopping, etc. As for sex, the main thing she does is pant harder and heavier, there isn't any moaning or other sounds. And for orgasm, other then the panting she will get excitable, but still no sounds.

To be fair, because I don't have a doggy love yet, I didn't vote. But I'm loving reading what everyone else has to say, because vocalization just tops it off, if you know what I mean.

Wow, I'm so glad to see this topic thread still alive. I would agree that from the vids that I've checked out that have audio tracks, it seems that female dogs are universally quiet when having sex except for perhaps a bit of heavy panting. However, the poll seems to indicate that there are quite a few dogs that do vocalize during sex. I'd still love to hear this somehow, even from just an mp3 file.Shy
