I often read on this forum something along the lines of.... I can't get my m/dog interested. What should I do yada, yada. Its a curiosity for me that No where have I read where another member was willing to share a sample of his/her girls seasonal perfume to help another member get his/her boy over his shyness. What are we talking about here, some tissue or cotton balls in a zip lock bag, in an envelope, less than a dollar in postage. I know its probably an annonymus issue. Still perhaps if there is enough interest, a remailing service could be considered, by the moderators ( for a nominal fee perhaps).I got my guy Scout when he was 14 months old and although inexperienced then he caught on right away. But some members seem to struggle with getting things to heat up.I doubt Ceasar will have an episode on this subject on the Dog Whisperer anytime soon. So I thought I would bring this up and see what others thought's were.Beverly
O.O...... call me dumb but i never thought about using a female in heats sent... (headdesk)..... sounds like a great idea for those who cant get their own...
It's less than a dollar and an address to mail to. I, personally, wouldn't give my address to some dude here. I simply wouldn't, because I like my anonymity and my privacy, no exceptions. On the other hand, if you cannot get your dog to perform the way YOU want, you should probably thing that maybe this is just because HE doesn't want. It's like feeding him drugs to make him perform if you use pheromones of an in-estrus bitch. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. It's his decision, he knows what he wants, and you should respect that. Love your dog and not just the sex with him.Prank
I would never share my dogs' bodily essences, especially knowing that they will be used to induce a behavior in a dog I don't know that that dog does not want to exhibit in the first place. It would be a betrayal of my bitch and the other dog.If the dog doesn't want to mate a human, he doesn't want to mate a human and that's the end of it.LTD
Its not as simplistic as it may seem. In heat kinds of scents don't entirely survive for long periods of time. Not with their full power to create rampant horniness in a male dog. What the may hold on too for a long period of time is that 'suggestion' of an in heat female being in the area. Think of it like this, you smell something totally new to your experience. As you continue to smell it, you can pick out parts of the scent that are or seem familiar. But the smell, taken as a whole, is none the less totally unfamiliar to you. That's what you have with in heat scents. There is enough of the scent there to peak a dog's interest enough to make them investigate. But not enough to make them horny enough to hump a sofa leg.
