I'm intersting in about similar topics. What the animals think about us when we sexplay with them. For example a horse. What the horse think about me, if I smooth or lick its stalion. Can somebody answer me? Thank you.
When the Staffy that my wife has had some fun with see's my Mrs, It's quite obvious what's on his mind. "AND IT AIN'T WALKIES"
A point to remember is that unlike humans who "think",animals work more on instinct or reaction. This is not to say that "anticipation" in some is likely, but they do not "think",in the way I believe you are suggesting.
I feel that the urge to mate is instinctual to them. They most likely realize they're engaging in a sexual act, but I don't believe they're thinking about anything other than the task at hand. A mare and a bitch probably thinks she's being bred, and the same for a male dog with a woman, only the other way around.
i would have to agree with the previous statement imo animals can feel love and emotion but when it comes down to sex or breeding what ever you would like to call it i believe that that act on pure instinct and sexual drive but who knows they could be thinking how lucky they are or something its to bad that we do not have the ability to communicate like we do with other humans and this is purely my opinion and i'm very new to this so take is as you wish
Animals see us filtered through there experences with other animals and the people around them. They learn by being with other animals and there people. They have various abilitys to reason but always good memorys. They are never alike as in dogs handle very different then horses..Animals are always usually strounger than us SOKnowing body language is a must..NEVER play with an animal that you do not know. Concent is shared between the partners.Rus
I don't know what the animals thinking about, but I very like it with them, especially with a dog. With a horses I didn't try it. mazlivá
Interesting!Thinking back through the mists of time, I can remember one of my girlfriends dogs salivating and getting stiff just standing at the open bathroom door as my girlfriend towelled off after a bath. She was bent double drying her legs and feet and her rear was towards me in the bedroom.Whether the dog was thinking, I don't know, anticipating, Yes! I feel sure that he was reacting to the sight before him but it would be brave of me to state that he was "thinking", in the broadest sense. It is possible that a sheepdog herding, thinks before acting in order to move the sheep towards the shepherd but it could be purely the training that it had received.Interesting thought, nevertheless.Pokerman

Something else to consider is that we over the past decades because of movies and tv have seen many different animals, such as Lassie,Littles Hobo,Black Beauty, Mr. Ed 101 Dalmations, ect. time and again and as a result of seein these animals preform what maybe to us as veiwers as "thought",we have likely considered that all said animals are capeable of said "limited thought". In fact however, these animals have been trained to respond to certian comands/Q's . I remember seeing a champion QH,on nothing more than a hand move from his owner go through his paces in cutting catle until his owner told him to stop. He was well trained, but he was reacting not thinking. The same I would say is true of many k9s that provide a variety of different services to people, from sheep hearding to rescue dogs. They may appear to have what seems to be basic thought, but I believe it to be more natural instinct,as in a herd or pack setting. Regardless, they all deserve to be loved and respected for what they do for us.
anicmals probly get teh same happy secual sensation that your get when you have sex...
Well dogs especially grow up to love their owner anyway so they may see sex as a treat
Its really hard to know for sure what animals think about let alone how they perceive the world.. most likely its much differently than we do.
Yea, anything I could say would be just an educated guess...when I look at my dog I can tell she's enjoying what's going on, but as to what she's thinking...hard to say...Probably something like...damn human...he wishes he had a knot...and so do I...

Animals feel pain so we can assume they feel pleasure as well. They work to keep themselves safe and make many choices a day to make there lives better. We train our animals to react to hand justures, a bit in mouth or sounds. The animal watches us but the animal makes the choice what to do. Animals see us as a herd / pack member maby alfa maby not but they chose to walk with us as much as we chose to walk with them..They may not be smart enough to talk with words but if you know them they will speek a language using there knowledge of the world they see around them..We walk through a door to change our location, some one different would call it an opening where some one else would use a hand justure. Why do we have to judge an animal from our world when the animal may be very smart in its world? One of my boys for some reason known to him chose to walk in a human world as apposed to the horse world. He made the choices and as any lifestyle comes with a price so does his. He does not like other horses in general, hates mares and is comfortable with only my other stud and the people he considers his "herd".He tought us / we tought him. He is quite cappable of independant thinking. That does not say he can do math but it does say he makes changes in his life to make his life more pleasent.Rus
Well they have to enjoy it. Normaly with their same species, its all about reproduction and not about pleasure. When humans come into the scenario, it gets more fun for both. Female horses and dogs surely enjoy any human sexual contact as most would like to make their animal freind feel as good as they do. Same with male animals. Just because they dont think doesnt mean they dont have feelings of pleasure.
Well, of course mating is instinctual and all, but I know my mate loves me. He cares about me, and wants to make me feel good and be happy as his mate. I'm not sure how many others understand this. I mean I'm sure he didn't "think" about how he felt about me or not, but that he found me an attractive mate and from there affection grew to love and tenderness.
