I know this has happened with me, so I was wondering if other board members have experienced the same thing. If you have friends, neighbors, relatives, who own pets, or have animals (people who ride horses, farm, have "exotic" animals, etc) do you find yourself wondering if they have been "intimate" with them? Have any of them ever said, or done anytiing not overtly zoo-related that really made you think that he or she was having, or had at some time, had sex with their pet or other animal?Sorry, this is kind of awkwardly written, but I think you can all get what I'm driiving at.

I wonder about it all the time.I know several senior ladies (60+) who live alone and seem a bit "too friendly" with their male dog companions. Of course, probably even hinting about something "inappropriate" would make them very hostile, so I never tried to ask.One funny thing I noticed: of all people who live in my neighbourhood and own large dogs: about 90% females have male dogs, 80% males have female dogs. I wonder if this really is a coincidence?

Telling jokes and such. Everytime that I feel like saying something she says something else that makes you think the otherway about her. It is a difficult thing to judge.

The way he treats her is so - so just like me *g* i just cant describe it better.Or the guy right next to us! His family owns a female GSD (before you ask, no chance to meet her ) and hes the only one of the family she trusts. He can rubb her everywhere and he can even roll her to her back. 3 words, All the time. I see a girl walking a gourgous larger breed intact male dog down the street and my first thought after "god that dog is hot" is my guess as if she's mating with him. Am if i see a guy walking a larger female dog down the street, after I think "Holy SH** she's hot!" and pry my jaw off the pavement and roll my tounge back up. I pray he's a zoo and that they have a loving and intimate relationship.

When I bring him home for some real attention as soon as I start taking off my pants he goes nuts starting to lick me. I find it hard to believe he does not give the same attention to my neighbors. Every summer we get together swimming naked at night. Every time we left there dog at home. I hope this summer we can take him with to see what happens. We will be going to Amsterdam together so if we have enought to drink and smoke after a sex show we can get into a conversation.

I was sitting on a couch playing a game over at a male friends house a couple nights ago and he told the dog to jump on the bed and started jokingly playing with the dogs sheath. The dogs neutered so nothing happend. He asked me if I ever saw a dogs penis. I said a couple times and he said he thinks their ugly. I just smiled a little and shut my mouth. I'm not sure if he's a zoo because he acts wierd all the time. Another friend has a really nice intact male black lab. I haven't seen him do anything to the dog but he makes a lot of zoo jokes. A couple times while I was over there he told his dog to give me kisses. If he only knew I would have loved to give his dog kisses (and a whole lot more) back. Sometimes its so hard to keep my mouth shut. (literally and figuratively)

At one time or another I think we all may well be 'pinging' someone close to us with "zoo radar" It would be wonderful to meet someone close that you could build a trust and share info and opinions with. Too bad we can't have a better open network or some signal or code to say we are zoo oriented. BeastForum.com is a great common platform to build such networks.

Posted by dogger37 on March 28th 2004, 22:01

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who thinks about this. I did have rasons for starting this thread in the first place, so here goes:As I mentioned in another post, my first experience with an animal was at 16 with a neighbor's female rottie. She was very calm, and very receptive. I had been around her some before, so she knew me, but our meetings had been just occasional. It didn't occur to me then other than as a passing thought, but now that I know a bit more, I really wonder whether their son, who was in college, had also been with her. At the time, it seemed to me she knew what I wanted to do. I think now that she probably DID know, and I think I now know why.But the first time I really started to wonder about someone else, to the point that I would see her and think "hmmmmm...." was in my early 20s. I had an apartment and directly above me lived a woman of about my age, quite cute, with a male boxer, "with all the original factory-installed parts." One night I woke up around midnight and it only took a couple of seconds to recognize the sound of her bed (her bedroom was right over mine) squeaking, and her moaning. Now, this I hadn't heard from her before, and I got up on my knees and put my ear to the wall (yeah, I have a one-track mind.) Well, her bed wasn't just sqeaking it sounded like it was motorized or something. It wasn't just going squeak....squeak....squeak..... bump....squeak, like you know it does during sex, it was going squeaksqueaksqueakeakeakeakeak! like a freakin' machine gun or something, and she was moaning and literally squealing. Happy as I was that she was having a much better night than I was, it suddenly occurred to me that, hey, wait a minute, how the heck can a guy go that fast??? There was no way that I could have kept that speed. She's moaning and I can hear her saying "yeah" and "yes" and the bed is squeaking like mad for a couple minutes. But I don't hear any guy making noise (which isn't that unusual, I know, but bear with me...) and then it just stops. No talk from her. Nothing at all for awhile. No sound of peple rolling over, getting out of bed. I'm confused (usually when somebody orgasms, you know it) and frustrated! (It doesn't take a great amount of imagination to know what I was doing.) There are some indistinct sounds, some creaks from the bed, and then she goes "ow!" Ow??? Why, "ow?" I'm thinking... and then there's a thunk! and then some sort of scrabbling on the wood floor above me. I kid you not. So I'm kneeling there, in the dark, my ear pressed against the wall, my...never mind..., and suddenly I'm thinking -hey, was she doing....no...way...! Well, maybe....Of course I saw her off and on after that, but never had the guts to say anything to her about it. I mean, how, in this situation, do you bring something like that up? Unfortunately the situation was never repeated. Ok, so that's the most dramatic of my experiences on this point. A couple of years later, a female friend of mine and I are standing on the street, outside a coffie shop waitng for a couple of friends to come out. It's summer, and my friend is in a very short skirt. A guy about our age comes down the street with a nice black lab on a leash, and my friend says someting like what a pretty dog. So, smart man, seeing his opening, he stops and smiles at her and the dog walks up to her and promptly sticks his head between her thighs and then goes right up under her skirt. He pulls back on the leash. SHE goes "ooooh," reaches down and holds the lab's head through her skirt and keeps him still there for a couple of seconds, looks right at the guy and and says with a smile "now that's a well trained dog," and then gently disengages herself from the lab. The guy's mouth is just hanging open and then he's spluttering and apologizing. I'm thinking "whoa...that was cool" and that she could NOT have kept her cool and just come up with that comment out of the blue. Guy and lab quiclky take off, my friend and I are grinning at each other, and then our other friends come out and one guy asks us what's so funny, completely spoiling the moment, and my friend just snaps "nothing!" glares at him, and that was it. A few years later, I knew a neighbor who lives in the apartment building across the street from me, late 20s, pretty, who has an intact male husky. Immediately, I'm wondering if the two of them are playing hide the kielbasa. She never said anything, or did anything to make my suspicious. She was just cute, kind of shy, and I admit, I just really WANTED them to be doing it. A male friend of mine also about that time had a girlfriend with a female golden retreiver, unspayed, and on more than one occassion, she'd make some comment about the both of them (her and the dog) missing him, or glad he's coming over, and I distinctly remember the first time she did that with me standing there, he suddenly looked real uncomfortable. The other thing you need to know is my friend, if anything, was a very active guy and was not at all shy about some of his, shall we say, more interesting (at least in his opinion, which was not always shared by his audience) sexual exploits. If I were to think of any of my friends who might have at least "experimented" at one time or another (but I doubt he'd ever let us here that kind of a tale...), he'd be the one. So I figured that he'd just been unintentionally outed by his GF, although I don't think she intended to do anything of the sort, but rather only tried to make him squirm a little, since I'm sure she's realized that we all, but this point, knew a great deal about her sexual preferences and performance. So she thought she had gotten him, and she did, in more ways then she knew though. Heh, heh, heh... Sometimes life is just fun that way.

I also wonder more often what they are wondering about me, considering I always notice their animals first and go berserk wanting to pet, play with and befriend the animal.

I've typically been given a pretty warm reception as this will typically make the dog quite excited and wanting to greet the "new friend." My enthusiasm along with their dogs enthusiastic response tends to immediately curb any of the typical wariness that is a normal part of meeting strange people.People that I am instantly wary of, are those that are "afraid" of dogs. We have one of these types where I work. She has shown her true colors many times as to how poor of character she is. My only guess is, that dogs cue in on her bad vibes, and respond accordingly - giving her, her reason to be "afraid" of dogs.

Yeah I use that kinda reasoning any time I am out with my camera equippment at the beach, in the public parks, or in the city taking pics of the scenery. I will see a woman walking down the street with a Dane on a collar that has nuts bigger than my head, a girl walking a rott that if it were a human would "really" need to wear a pair of swim trunks to hide its package, or the one odd case of the little chihuahua being walked around by a young asian lady that had a schlong bigger than its own body. Do I wonder? yesThere was even the case of one woman I know talking about her cousin screwing a dog out in a field while she watched (in disgust ) then she started talking about wanting to own a dog herself. This convo happened over a few beers, I played it off letting it go at that for that time.

QUOTE (dogger37 @ Mar 20 2004, 01:09 PM) Have any of them ever said, or done anytiing not overtly zoo-related that really made you think that he or she was having, or had at some time, had sex with their pet or other animal? well, it's a bit different than what you are asking, but when I see somebody walking a well hung male dog for example, I always think that if they aren't having sex with him it's really too bad. it actually upsets me a bit to think how so many sexy dogs aren't appreciated sexually. Not just that, but how many people are really missing out. I can't imagine most woman wouldn't enjoy a male dog in them. I make sure my friend's dog isn't deprived =) I think that's one reason she seems to love me more, I take care of her sexual needs (sure I love her, pet her and such but they do too).

they say that every strait person has at least one homosexual fantasy, so I suppose the same may be possible for non zoos to fantasys about their pets.

I know at least one person that I think has sex with his girl dog. He was one of my customers that I happen to get to know a little closer. One day after finishing work he invited me to his home for a beer and a talk. He has a female dog although he was working the whole day out, but he has a huge garden and some nice neighbours to let the dog out. So I think the she was doing fine. When sitting in the room (it was one of this monster appartments, livingroom, bedroom, kitchen all in one, but...really bigsized) I noticed he has an extra bed with a rough blanket an some heavy duty pillows on it. All in all it seems to me like a playstation for him and his girl dog. But what convinced me was the bevavior of her. She puts aside her tail every time he touched her, she layed down on her back whenever he starts to cuddle her, she licks her bits and does anything to catch his eye.So you can tell me that each of this is not neccessaryly a sign for a zoo relationship, but my feeling says it is.

There's some people I'm sure of, but they don't say a thing, but the ones that really make me think are the ones that often do say they do, or joke about, having sex with animals. Some of them I just don't believe. Still others, who knows? Makes my head hurt to think about it too much!

I'll tell you I knew for certain about the old woman who taught me all about backyard breeding. After collecting semen or hand breeding, whether making mules with my little jack or with her own stallion she would lick her fingers if she thought no one was looking. She also pointed out stallions get sexually frustrated and it's poor horsemanship to not jack them off once a month or so. People will have thier own opinions about who good a horsewoman she really was, but there was no doubt she had sex with at least those two, and she even said how often. She wasn't shy about it. There's one woman, with all respect to her too. I think she was the best horseman in the world, bar none.

I recall a few occasions, when my wife and I were first married around 1985, we would visit her sister and husband, they were older than us, in their late twenties. We would have evenings in and watch videos, in fact it was the brother in law which first introduced me to animal porn, although we never watched that type of video whilst in each others company, but he used to say to me, when we were at the rental shop,Have you seen the animal farm video, he said he had watch it, and encouraged me to rent the film from the shops special stock. That was the first time I saw Animal sex, and I must admit I have been Fascinated by it ever since,But back to the subject, I recall that when we were visiting them, quite often my sister in law used to get changed out of her everday clothes and would put on her nightie and dressing gown, to watch the films, usually Horror / Thriller type films. They had a male Black Labrador, named Jake, which they had raised from a pup, and was now a young but fully grown dog.He used to sit in front of her, and rest his head in her lap, then he would slowly try climbing up onto her with his front paws also on her lap, She would say he was a big softy and always tried worming his way onto the settee with her,His cock would start to peek out of it's sheath, and the brother in law would make joke of it, and say "hey up, his lipstick is out again".Everyone laughed it off, but when I think back, I often wonder if she had any intimate times with Jake, knowing that they had viewed doggie sex on video, prior to these incidents

I work in a store (not at all dedicated to animals, oddly enough) where people bring their pets in once in awhile. And sometimes I think there's more than meets the eye with some of the people. Like the guy who carried around his golden retriever. It was nice to see, but his doting over her was almost too obvious.

Did anyone ever print zeta bumper stickers? I swear I saw one once, black on a white background, on a VW Vanagon. There used to be a big longhaired blonde woman at the apartment complex, rather bleak and cold in her manner, with a gorgeous and _really_ friendly golden lab. I always though it was a shame his owner was so antisocial.

I've often wondered about a female co-worker of mine being into it too. I try not to let on too much for obvious reasons, but some of the things she's said.... We have lunch together a good bit, and we talk about things we wouldn't talk about around the guys at work. She once told me she thought her female Shephard was a lezbian. She sleeps in the nude on her stomache, and evidently, the Shephard came in while she was sleeping, and started licking her behind. A few weeks later, She mentioned about her Mom having so many cats around her place, and she joked she was going to take one to her place, but only if she could train it to lick her. She passed it off as a joke, but putting the 2 instances together, I wonder! Would be cool to have someone like her into it too (I'm pretty sure she's also bisexual), but I'm afraid to push the subject with her.

In the last few years I often wonder about my neighbours and those I might meet socially. Not experiencing an on-going relationship with either a dog or a human can make life, to say the least, lonely. It would be so nice to share with someone else and their animals even if they are not dogs. As to wondering about their sexual habits with animals, I must admit to some jealousies when the affection between the people and their animals is so obvious and then I start thinking that maybe, just maybe, they are on the same wavelength as myself. As I get older I become more wary of making advances down that line in case I get myself branded as a pervert or similar, such is the paranoia these days.Pokerman

I really wonder when i see one with a man and her private parts look too big (invitingly streached) for the rest of her size. And without question I always wonder - if I could get that bitch alone in a dark room would she say yes and allow me to love her! Such as the world of fantassy goes

Hardly have any family and least of all with aimals. Bus ome time ago, a Circus visited our town. I noticed a horsetrainer with 6 stallions. And I wonder why he went for stallions, when mares or geldings would probably be easier to handle for his use. Maybe these stallions play a larger role in his life than just for the circus work?I liked the look of those lovely creatures well enough though....

EveningThe circus people I know work studs as well. They travel in a bachelor herd and get on quite well. You need to know the personal space each horse keeps and make sure you do not "insult" one by missing a change in pecking order etc.. I find my boys train easier than the mares. I am a "stud" person where some people are mare people. Mares seam to train by letting them think it was her idea. My boys you show them and they copy your moves. The "presence" of studs make a better performance for a general audience. A seasond horseman would be as pleased to see a mare or gelding in the ring. I know people in the stands who are non zoo's still look under the horses in the ring to make conversation later over there equipment. Its a pick up line.Just a thoughtRus

Now that I am divorced I often wonder about my ex-wife. She grew up in the country with cats & dogs not to mention always had a healthy sexual appetite masturbating herself regularly from what she shared with me.One year we went to the County Fair together and were walking through the building with the bulls. She took one look at the set of huge balls on one bull and went nuts. Her eyes were like pie plates! She said "OMG look at how big they are!" and proceeded to inspect other bulls with entheusiasm. She just couldn't stop talking and giggling about the huge balls on those animals. The real kicker for me was during the last few months of our marriage. I started surfing porn due to lack of relations with her. I had been doing it on the sneak cuz she was so jealous of me looking at other women and quite a porn opponent but I think she was onto me. I came across some zoo porn one day (my first exposure) and a few days later she slipped into the shower with me. We started getting naughty and I was taking her from behind when all the sudden she started screaming things like "F#$% me like a dog!" "I'm your bitch!" "I'm A dog!" "Oh yeah, I'm your dog!" "F#$k me!" I did her oodles of times doggystyle while she said nasty things but never, ever anything like that!Unfortunately at that time my new interest in women & dogs was my dirty little secret and instead of exploring the role play I freaked. I abruptly ceased activities thinking she knew what I was looking at the other day and I was busted.I guarantee that won't happen in the future! She's re-married now and from what I've heard her new guy is a bit preoccupied with sex (happy for her!). I wouldn't be surprised if I saw her some day in the homemade movies section!

The property owner didn't want to take her to the pound because of her breed, so somebody who knew him and knew me asked if I would take her in. She was an adult when I got her (though she *is* very small, crossed with Boston Terrier I believe) and I have no way of knowing her past. I've had people think she was in heat, or tell me that she has likely had at least one litter of pups. Possibly that is it.

Do vets get suspicous or is quite common to want your pet to be natural? As for personal experiences one of my friends told me that when we were younger another friend of ours musturbated his dog off (he was wearing plastic gloves) in front of him. Years ago, one of my friends told me that she had sex with her dog every day when her husband left for work. When she told me, she no longer had the dog but I thought of all the years I had known her and all the fun we could have had together. Another friend mentioned that she and her husband stripped off their clothes in one room to have some fun in another room.. trail of clothes type of thing. When she came back to get her clothes, their dog had chewed the crotch out of her panties. She said it was like a light going off in her head. She had never thought of sex with her dog before that point. She let her dog lick her from that day... but she never told her husband.

Active zoos probably account from somewhere between 1-10% of the population (depending on whose figures you believe) at anytime, with more being curious, but too afraid or inhibited to jump in. I think since this is what we know and am familar with we project this onto innocent behavior of other people a lot. Not saying in some cases it isn't correct. But it could easily lead to getting sloppy and letting your guard down. I am waaaaay too paranoid for that, so I actually try not to think about it when I am away from home.

I also work at a pet store, and from day one I've had to wonder about people who come in with intact dogs. I just wish there was some fool-proof way to find out for sure. Maybe I need one of those zeta bumper stickers...

Hmm how do most people react when you talk about it out of the blue? I mean I am sure you get a lot of quizzical looks. Along with the response, "What's wrong, you're so beautiful can't you get a real man?"

QUOTE (energydog @ May 2 2008, 01:06 PM) Hmm how do most people react when you talk about it out of the blue?  I mean I am sure you get a lot of quizzical looks.  Along with the response, "What's wrong, you're so beautiful can't you get a real man?" That only happens when I talk about it HERE, to be honest I've gotten tons of harrassing PMs on this site(and on yahoo when I had my sn in my profile) of guys saying crap like that and calling me "c*unt, w*ore", etcAND...this is an actual quote from a PM I recieved from a member of THIS SITE a couple months ago..."what, you must be hiding a dick up that skirt or have some horrible deformity or a green stinkin c*unt, you must be a filthy c*unt, yuck, I would never touch you now that I've seen you on an animal site, you must be screwd up and can't get a man to f*uck you blindfolded, you queer tranny dog w*ore" Yes, someone actually sent that to me after viewing my pictures So, that's what happens on the net.In RL though? I've gotten several responses of "wow, that's incredible, I think that kind of stuff is awesome", I've been told by my two ex boyfriends that they'd have no issues with me continuing to be with animals and they even encouraged it and used my fantasies to enhance my personal pleasure during oral sex(they'd whisper the fantasies and experiences I'd shared with them to me inbetween licks in a husky voice and ask me if I wanted to feel a dog again... ), and my other friends whom I've told have said "I accept you for who you are, that doesn't bother me, what you do sexually is your own business and we would never tell you what you should and shouldn't do".So, my experiences online with being a zoo have been 100 times worse than my RL experiences when I've told people. Generally I think the men that say "you're pretty, why don't you want a man?" are just insecure with a woman that isn't 'normal', or they think animals have somehow stolen their chances of being with a woman they like, as if the animal must be "Better" than them. In my particular case, I like MEN *and* ANIMALS, so they're quite silly to find it somehow a barrier for themselves.

Ok, I am normally not a violent person, but...EV, would it be possible to have whomever sent you that awful PM dragged out into a field and kicked by a horse? Might knock some sense (to say nothing of respect and manners!) into them. That's terrible. I'm sorry to hear that you've had to deal with that sort of thing. A person should never be treated or talked to in such a manner...RL, online, or anywhere else.Well, I am glad at least you've been able to balance the scales with some good experiences. And that your boyfriends have been open-minded and supportive. You certainly are very pretty, and you seem like a genuinely nice person on top of that. Suffice to say, you could have anyone you want. Whether they have two legs or four. I think we'd agree anyone who could capture your affections would be very lucky, indeed. It's a shame that some people do have that "barrier" in place, but that's the world we live in I guess.

Good Lord ! I have to say I feel for EV having read her last post and am grateful I've never received any of those type of PMs!Getting back on topic ...... it's amazing how you get to recognise the regular dog walkers in your area and often end up chatting with them. I do wonder about a few I meet ..... where the man is single and has a large female dog (at least one hasn't neutered her either) ...... and when I see a female with a very large male dog and no male human partner. On the other hand there could be very reasonable explanations too such as some men might consider a small dog "not manly" and females are generally thought to be easier to control ..... more placid etc. As for the female humans with the large male dogs .... maybe they just feel safer with a big male dog. I know it was one of the factors that made me pick my dog as a single female living on her own who has been burgled previously.I've been asked several times by my family and friends why I got such a big dog .... I'm just about 5 foot 5 and his size and stength is an issue in relation to mine at times. I just say I didn't want a small, yappy thing under my feet all the time ....... (with no offence to smaller dogs, it just gets people off my back). I see people looking at me sometimes when I have him out and about and he's dragging me down the road .... (we're working on the lead training lol) ...... maybe they wonder about me too ? Who knows ? And anyone that does ? ..... let them wonder !

I am glad (and proud of you) that you've got the strength of character to brush off idiots like that. I know a lot of people would really let stuff like that bother them. Either way I hope Southy froze his account till the next ice age I guess on another note I think (though not for sure on this) that people may be a bit more accepting of females in the lifestyle than men. Kind of for the same reason straight guys accept lesbians more than guys. There is an undercurrent of sexual adventure that can appeal to straight guys that men can't capture. In some of the circles I move in Lesbians can be cool, "chic" even. But guys not so much. What do the rest of you think? Am I totally off base here?:edit: I guess what I am saying a lesbian may not threaten a insecure straight guys' ego the way a man can. A lesbian can be a symbol of female sexuality that can be very intriguing for straight guys. In the same way a woman into the lifestyle could be more accepted than a man might. meh....I am up past my sacktime, talking in circles. night all

A question I run through my mind on a regular basis. I got to find out about a neighbor first hand a few years ago. I live in the country, I have a garden in the summer that borders to one of my neighbors. there is a old fence row that is grown up making a bit of privacy between us. One evening I went to the garden to do some weeding, usually the neighbors dog would bark all the time I was there. His pen was just on the other side of the grown up fence row. this time there wasn't a peep out of him. As I worked I got closer to the edge where his pen is. I noticed hearing some sounds that seemed muffled. I went to the edge of the undergrowth. I thought I could see something so I moved to another spot where it wasn't as thick. On the other side was my neighbors wife on her hands and knees, mounted by their lab mix. He had his front legs wrapped around her waist, his head resting on her shoulder by her head and was humping hard. I know some will say I shouldn't have watched but you couldn't pry me away from there. By moving a little i found a very good vantage point and could see her breasts sway as the dog has his way with her. it didn't last long until you could tell he was cumming in her, I wondered if he had knotted her and that was answered shortly when he swing his leg over and turned the other way, she moaned as if it might have been on the uncomfortable side ( ladies is it uncomfortable if the dog that has knotted you turns??) They remained that way for a while, It seemed like a long time but maybe 5 or 10 min. then he pulled free, she moaned again. He licked himself a few times then cleaned her up. I'm not sure how long i was there but had the chiggers to prove it from laying in the undergrowth. Then I knew her secret!!!!!

Hi,I don't really have anyone who lives near me with animals that I would consider good 'playmates' (i.e. toy poodles etc) but on my way home from work, I pass a trail that runs along the road for about two miles. Most every day, a girl in her late 20's, early 30's walks her 'very male' boxer most every day. I've noticed he nuzzles her through her gym shorts, but that can be just me reading something into it that isn't there.Other than that, nope!Good thread!HugsDonna

It is such a shame to hear that people have received such treatment. Being rather new myself I hope that is a rare occurrence. As for the question... I was thinking it today as a matter of fact. I was outside training my german shepherd bitch and saw a really cute lady being dragged down the street by her Great Dane. I made a point of seeing if he was intact. Indeed he was. Might have to go introduce myself next time.

Seeing as I work at a truck stop, the thought is pretty frequent when I see a rig at one of the pumps with a gorgeous canine sitting in the cab. If they aren't barking at everyone who walks by, I think, "A well trained dog...hmmm..." And of course the occasional female driver with a well hung hound makes me really wonder. Also I see travelers letting their dogs out to stretch and I have thoughts and suspicions. Most of the time I am busy sneaking looks at the females I see. Lucky for me I wear polarized shades so nobody can see my eyes outside.

Yeah, I often question. In the city here I don't see all that many people with intact animals as far as I can tell (I don't want to be caught staring openly at their dog's junk) but I see people with animals outside every day. It's hard to imagine that not one of them has tried anything. The ones I usually see with intact animals are actually usually the homeless and they're usually so close with their pets I'm certain they must do things.I just hope I get to be one of the lucky owners of an intact animal within the year.

Sorry but it's just wishful thinking and the projection of your feelings onto others. The reason most homeless people don't have their animals neutered is to do with this thing called money. I am sure they are incredibly close to their animals but close does not equate to sexual as there are many millions more people who are very close to their animals than there are whom are close and sexual.

Yeah that's more than true and I can understand that. I think regardless it's nice that they're so close to their animals and even if it isn't sexual then at least they're sharing a deep connection of understanding and a bit of reliance. I've overheard a few pretty openly discussing zoosexual things on my bike rides around the city but of course I'd never approach them about it or anything.

I'm pretty sure my dad's best friend is zoo. He's been divorced for a couple decades now and to our knowledge hasn't been on a single date. Not a bad looking guy either, well liked and kind I'd say, though a bit quiet. As long as I've known him, which is a very long time indeed, he has always had at least one or two intact female Rotties or similar large mix-breed females. Last time my dad and I visited him was a few years ago. He had lost one of his girls to a tragic illness the week before and the whole visit he talked about her and how much he missed her. Cried a little too. Of course I was more than happy to be there for him and listen as I love my dogs that much too and completely understand. Yep, I'm pretty sure he is zoo. But for the sake of his privacy and mine I'd never ask him if he is or tell him that I am.

I have sometimes had a friend or two that i've wondered about being a zoo. Even came out to one the other day in hopes he shared kindred interests. Oops! He wasn't a zoo, despite having a very goodlooking intact male dog. It wasn't just to find out if he was a zoo, I had suspicions that he'd heard from a certain someone that i was a zoo(turns out he had). So, I'd figured I mine as well confront him about it.He doesn't like it one bit, and states quite often that "it doesn't settle well in his stomach" but he continues to be a close friend of mine. He keeps insisting I find a g/f and try my hardest to become "normal" but he doesn't realize I've been like this for my entire life. Some things you just can't change. Lord knows i've tried!I guess other than that one guy, I haven't really seen anyone else that sparks an interest as a fellow zoo. I'd like to think that because your dog is unclipped, the chances are greater, but that's just not something i'm going to go and ask some random person on the trails...

QUOTE (knotaredneck @ Feb 4 2012, 09:38 PM) Oops! He wasn't a zoo, despite having a very good looking intact male dog. That's the thing in these situations. You can never assume someone is zoo simply because they like animals and have an intact dog. Here in Budapest the majority of dogs you see being walked are intact but then they haven't had much of a S/N drive here and they have the stray and feral population to go with it.

Sometimes, but that may just be me projecting my thoughts onto others. Every once in a while I'll see a woman with a well-equipped dog and wonder. The biggest question in my mind came from seeing a guy at Dog Beach in San Diego with 2 HUGE intact male dogs. One was a Dane, the other was just as big, but not a Dane, and maybe even a mutt. If he had 2 Danes, I would be less suspicious. It's probably all in my head. I certainly got to daydreaming. I do feel sorry for intact dogs if they aren't getting any. It seems like such a waste.
