almost every evening around 4 to 7pm ive noticed one of my neighbor's geldings will get an erection and slap its belly and it seams to turn the other geldings on and they start masterbating too. For any one that owns multiple horses is this normal or am I just fortunate?

well not on a regular basis but i have seen this myself, gen in the late noon or early eve on nocer daysday of the fellas cut or intact hanging close to each other seem to droop and sport a little wood))but its allway when i cant do anything for/with them((

I live on a farm with a few horses. Mostly geldings s you are interested in. I can't say that this is an often occurence, but I have seen it a few times. Though i noticed that it is more prevelent in horses that get left out on the field all day and don't get much human interaction. But I do know that if one of hte geldings starts, they all do it, its a heard/dominate thing with in the heard, kind of like showing off

Yup Very normalBut if you think there penises are very dirty it might be worth checking them to make sure they are not bothered by anything..There is a cavity im the center of the glands that can collect materal in the shape of a "bean" The masterbation could be the horse roaling the top of the glands on his belly to dislodge the deposit..My studs masterbate all the time and are clean its just fun and feels good..Rus
