Opposite to man's best friend. As a 'dog boy' I despise these horrific creatures. Am I wrong in doing this?Does anyone think our feline friends are truly man's best friend (i.e. better than dogs at giving blowies)?
I am definetly a dog guy, but I do not despise cats at all, I love them...Why are cats so bad? Other than a stupid age-old arguement?A cat blow can be awesome... if you can take that uber-rough tongue without screaming, that is...
I am also not a cat lover.. I used to be.. and rescued a HUGE male from the pound.. he was a doll! then later down the road a stray wandered into our midst and we kept her... next thing you know here come another stray... so now we have 3 cats in a 2 bedroom apartment.. that wasnt so bad.. I wanted to get the female cat fixed but at the time I was dirt poor.. and she ended up pregnant by the second stray... she had 7.. yes I said 7 kittens... it was horrid.. living in a small 2 bedroom apartment with 10 cats... you couldnt keep up with the litter box not only that the kittens didnt know any better until my house was already stinking! when the kittens were old enough I not only gave them away I also gave the mom and the dad away... which only left our BIG HUGE cat... ever since then I have not wanted a cat in my house ...I dont hate cats though.. and love other peoples... I remember once my ex and I were looking for a house.. this real estate agent took us to this one house .. and in the process of looking at it we discovered a cat trapped in the backyard entryway.. this poor thing was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo skinny... you could actually see clearly all the bones in his spine.. my heart just broke looking at him... I went to our truck and got an old blanket we kept in the tool box and proceded to try and coax the cat to me... took my about a 1/2 hour but I did it... and took him home with me... he lived in our bedroom closet for 3 weeks .. refusing to come out ... then little by little he would venture out... he was still with us when I divorced my husband and my ex took him as I had my little dog.. and well I dont like cats LOL

Many of them snappy, yelping, unfriendly little SOBs, until I realized it was the owners I should be hating instead of the dogs. They were the ones who spoil and use them as substitute children and allowed them to get that way. With proper care and training they can be enjoyable, loving companions.I fairly much like all animals equally. Luckily for me since I work at a zoo and have a son who works at a pet store. You would be amazed at how many and the assortment of animals I've had about.
I looove cats. Definitely my favorite 'real' animal (first being a dragon)... ^__^Cats are amazing, they're somethin else. But you know if you're using em as a sexual object well then dur they're not going to be 'better' then dogs.:/ Dogs are willing to please and want to please, cats are to be pleased.Remember the cat was worshipped in ancient times and they have never forgotten that.

AFAIK cats can't really blow you, just like dogs, they'll just lick (teeth are inconveniently placed). I heard that a cat's tongue is either surreal or ultimate pain for most guys

You would be amazed at how many and the assortment of animals I've had about. that is true to an extent. there have been a few small dogs ive liked, one maltese took quite a liking to me, but thats only because her sisters would snap at her and the only refuge was my lap half of the time.some small dogs though, like the small breeds of terrier that everyone likes to keep as pets, were bred to kill, so they just have nasty temperments from the start.either way they all have little dog complexes
I don't hate cats, I just don't like them much. I personally don't see them as appropriate pets for me, they seem too independent, and I don't like their claws. I've had cats try to snuggle up in my lap, but when they're climbing all over, their claws can be unpleasant.Plus all the dogs I've known have been cleaner in the house. They don't leave dead mice lying around, or any other surprises. Cat's can be pretty cute and funny, I'll admit to that. But nothing is better than a trusty dog by your side .
i punched a cat in the face onceit didnt occur to me to have sex with itlive and learn

Never want to be involved with a cat sexually. That aside I love kitties, they're smart, playfully, graceful, soft, cuddly, and soooo cute. I also love dogs, both are really great animals, but don't diss either.
I adore cats. I've always been a cat lover and a wolf lover second. Cats are highly intelligent and have personalities. They are as independent as humans and you have to treat them with respect. A cat does what a cat wants and you can't force them. A dog is a loyal being who is pre-programmed genetically to be docile and willing to accept your orders. Personally, I prefer my companions to be as independent as I like my humans.I too like the larger breeds of dogs. I can't stand most smaller breeds. Although, it's mostly a case by case thing... There have been a couple that I got to know that I liked.Cats can be wonderful friends, but they won't be sexual partners. Treat them righ and they can be as loving as a dog. Ask my husband, he hated cats until he met mine.
Haven't you watched Robot Chicken!? Cats are jerks! Dogs are a million times better.
I dont like cats either - we've always had a few kicking around but i only ever loved 2 of them - independent cooldude toms I think cats stink - cat people's houses always stink of cats and lucky me, my boyfriend is a cat person and has two of the stinkiest they are demanding 'stroke me NOW, bitch' and sneaky - when they poop on the bathmat and you punish them, they go do it again when you're not looking! They are set in their ways- kick off if theyre moved around, whereas you can take a dog with you on your travels. As something of a nomad this appeals to me but i dont hold much to the 'i like cats coz theyre independent' deal - the vast majority of cats ive met are needy attention seekers, and you do get independent intelligent dogs.

As something of a nomad this appeals to me but i dont hold much to the 'i like cats coz theyre independent' deal - the vast majority of cats ive met are needy attention seekers, and you do get independent intelligent dogs.I've met about an equal amount of independent cats to "needy" ones. I have a much older cat, and when he was younger he was highly independent. He rarely came to me for affection, but he would follow me around outside like a puppy. When he got older, he turned into an needy old elderly man. He doesn't really demand attention, but he does flop in our lap a lot.Cat homes stink because of the litterbox. I have a littermaid (expensive, I know) and it's always scooping the box and storing the smell away. Properly maintained, the littermaid has kept my house "cat-smell" free. Unaltered males also contribute to the "stink". Especially if they mark inside the home. Cats are very fastidious and most refuse to go in a litterbox that isn't perfectly clean. Unfortunately, cats can learn bad habits just like dogs. They just don't respond to punishment the same. (Nothing like cat-pee on your bed as a reminder...)I have always believed that there is a cat for every person. (Even those who were mice in a past life and currently hate cats...) If it wasn't for Shadow, I know my husband would still hate cats. (he hated them for the same reasons stated above) Sure, there are still some cats he can't stand, but overall he learned to be more open minded when it comes to felines.
